This document discusses course evaluation at a university with over 24,000 students across 19 schools and 9 research institutes. It summarizes the issues with prior course evaluation methods, including a lack of consistency and compulsory participation. A working group was established to review course evaluation and identified both formative and summative purposes. They developed a standardized core questionnaire with 5 questions to be used across all courses, along with optional question sets for specific course aspects. Moving forward, an advisory board will provide strategic guidance and disseminate best practices to improve course evaluation, teaching quality, and student feedback processes at the university.
