I believe that technology for
English language teaching is
extremely important. Since
students learn at different rates of
speed, individual technology gives
each student the chance to work at
his own pace in a relaxed setting
without competing with others in
the class. It also allows students to
make mistakes and to practice
skills in private.
Not all students or teachers
have good internet or
computer access.
Teachers do not have
computers in classes
Students may not have
access to computers outside

What difficulties do you
face in using technology
in Habib school?
 Network : weak.
 Smart board is new in Habib School.
 Extra periods.
 Time :many different activities to do
so there is no spare time to prepare
lesson by using technology.
 The LRC is always occupied and we
can’t or hardly can get chances to use
it.
 We don’t have enough time to prepare
a lesson using technology.
 Some students have negative attitude
towards the subject.
 No space provided
 crowdedness.
 Large numbers of students in each class.
 Computers are’nt enough to suit the

• In general , 21st century teachers need to use
technology effectively to prepare students for the
information and communication age, that includes for
learning a language .
• Refresher courses are needed for more complicated
technologies
• Be active and creative in teaching by using
PowerPoint & Websites effectively.
• Try to learn how to create interactive quizzes and
publish them on the internet or vie e-mails to
students.
• It is NOT about technology – it IS about interactivity!
• For Habib ’s Teachers , 5 teachers need
intensive course in Microsoft Office Word to
create printed materials such as short tests
and exams.
• 3 teachers need long course in Microsoft
Office Power point to learn how to use it and
create presentations.
• 9 teachers need a course in creating
interactive quizzes ,I see Quiz Creator is the
most important one.
