The acquisition of a new language will improve the opportunities and
quality of life for all citizens. However, the degree of quality of
education plays a key role in the success of the professionals in the
future.
The advancement of mobile technology in society and their integration
into the classrooms provides the opportunity to develop innovative
teaching methods with a constructivist approach.
What instructional strategies for English teaching are used by the
group of 10th graders at Liceo Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles in San
Ramón, in the first half of the year 2016?
 To analyze the use of instructional strategies for English teaching in
10th graders at the Liceo Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles in San
Ramón, in the first half of 2016 identifying strategies and technology
to be integrated in classrooms.
 To diagnose the use of mobile technologies as a teaching
resource to receptive skills in English teaching during on 10th
graders in the first half of 2016.
 To determine the teaching resources use by the professors in
the classrooms.
 To define the receptive English skills expected outcomes.
 To identify the general characteristics of 10th graders.
 To develop a proposal of activities to integrate the usage mobile

 Conclusion
 Students will practice not only listening when they
listen to music. They will be able to practice reading,
pronunciation, intonation, and vocabulary, specially,
when they find the letter from the music.
 Teachers have to receive capacitation to improve their
skills with technological devices, and apply the
knowledge in class with the students.

 Teachers have to be update according the students
need.
 High School have to implement a free access to internet
at all the students inside the institution.
 Recommendation
 Teachers have to take into consideration and fine solutions to
use the smartphone or a tablet like a tool during the teaching
and learning process.
 Teachers have to allow students to use a cellphone or tablet
in class, if it is used as with educative purposes such as find a
word in the mobile dictionary or fine any English definitions.
 The technology can facilitate the educative English process
through some English apps. This process can help for
listening and reading skills. Generally, some students use
their mobile device to listen to music. That practice is helping
them to develop those two skills and watch English movies.
 The government and the High School have to work together
and fine solutions according to students ‘characteristics.
Every student wants to learn but the resources are limited.

CLASSES
To instrument the use of mobile technology in the classroom, following the
curricular MEP´s program in order to have a dynamic class using any
electronic device.
 To identify the adequate technology to use in English lessons.
 To recognize the implements that can be useful in the English
activities.
 To determine the pros and cons from the students according to
technology access.

Students will have an academic impact, if this proposal is
developed because it will be an additional tool on the students
learning process, in course that technology nowadays is what
moves the world. At the present time students texting on their cell
phones, children can navigate with the tablets or cellphones
better than adults, and students who already have an internet
access will follow how to use apps to practice the receptive
English skills. So it is an advantage able resource to learn a
language.
STRENGTHS
 Teachers will have access to resources such as lesson ideas and suggestions.
 Online support with an excellent teaching and learning classroom that can be
supported by a network of colleagues.
 Professional updates.
WEAKNESSES
 There continues to be uncertainty as to how ICT is used in classrooms and the
impact that it is having on outcomes.
 The low economical incomes from the institution.
OPPORTUNITIES
 Teacher autonomy can lead to better learning.
 Provides teachers who are interested in the use of technologies at the heart of
teaching and learning with the opportunity to develop innovative digital resources
around ‘assessment approaches and evidence’ throughout the new curriculum.

 Students will be distracted and doing something different with the phones.
 Theft of electrical appliances can increase.
 Online education with students from night High Schools.
