5. Retain Server
The Retain Server is the central component of
the product. It is managing, storing and
indexing the data. The server provides the Web
Interface for all Users and serves the APIs for
internal and external applications.
Retain Worker
The Retain Worker is the collector for data out
of different repositories. The Worker can be
installed on the Retain Server or on another
server.
Retain Reporting / Monitoring Server
The Retain Reporting & Monitoring Server
provides the Administrator with valuable
Reports and monitors the Retain Server. It can
be installed on the Retain Server or separately.
Retain Mobile Router
The Retain Mobile Router must be used to
archive mobile data from Android devices and
can be used for BBM protected. Because the
Retain Mobile Router needs to be available
from the Internet, it is mostly installed in a
DMZ.

embedded indexing engine can deliver
everything you need to enjoy the new search
options in Retain 4.
Retain High Performance Indexing Engine
The new external high performance indexing

data over 2.000.000.000 documents.
