This document provides tips for creating a clear and visible PowerPoint presentation. It recommends using a dark background with white text and highlighting important points in bright colors. The font should be Rockwell size 30 or larger. Slides should not be overcrowded with words or images, and videos should fill the entire slide. Content should be bullet pointed and summarized. Pictures should be related to the topic, and minimal animation used. Slides should be optimized for content and formatting. Not all text needs to be on slides to engage the audience in discussion.

2. GUIDE!
• Use a dark background or design/template.
• Use white as the main color of the letters.
• Use yellow or other bright colors (test for visibility) to
highlight important things.
• Use Rockwell as your font (preferably because it is clean &
clear).
• Use a minimum font size of 30 or larger for bigger audiences.

3. GUIDE!
• Do not overcrowd your slides with words and pictures/pics
art.
• Videos or video clips should occupy the whole/entire slide.
• Your content must be summarized and be presented in a
bulleted manner.
• Use only pictures/pics art related to your topic.
• Do not use too much animation, the simpler & lesser the
animation the better.

4. GUIDE!
• Maximize your every slide by adjusting words and
pictures/pics arts as needed to fit the slide.
• Do not put whole paragraphs in your slides except if it is
really needed (remember bullet type presentation).
• Capture your audience’s attention by not putting
everything you will discuss. Its better if you like you
memorized your topic.

5. REMEMBER:
1. This is not a perfect guide.
2. You can make your own rules/guide.
3. A simple PowerPoint presentation makes a powerful presentation.
4. Do not worry about the number of slides. Worry about your
audience who will be reading your presentations.
5. Do not put everything in your presentation. Leave something for
your discussion.
6. Relax take your time but do not exceed the time limit given to you.
