This document discusses playful embodied interaction with motivational aspects from past, present, and future perspectives. In the past, the author's work focused on interactive play behavior and motivation through projects like an interactive tag playground. Currently, the author teaches and conducts research involving projects that adapt systems for engagement and transfer traditional games to new contexts. Looking ahead, perspectives include personalizing games for different contexts like education and physical rehabilitation, and using steering and persuasive elements in embodied play.
