This document is a research project report submitted by Rishu Singh to the National Institute of Fashion Technology in partial fulfillment of a Master's degree in Fashion Management. The report analyzes strategies for launching new brands in the sports and casual socks category on e-commerce marketplaces. It includes a literature review on strategic management models, an analysis of the socks industry using Porter's Five Forces, and an evaluation of brands under Calzini Fashions Ltd. using the BCG matrix, directional policy matrix, and analytical hierarchy process. The results will help Calzini modify strategies and make informed decisions about investments in new e-commerce brands.
