Anna Cabré, Directora d'Innovació i Comunicació del Consorci de Biblioteques de Barcelona, va explicar que l’any 2021 el Govern municipal va presentar ‘Fem Cultura!’, i la 9a mesura és el Pla director 2030 de les Biblioteques de Barcelona, i una de les línies d’acció, dins l’àmbit de coneixement i innovació, fa referència específicament a l’adquisició del coneixement científic. Va argumentar que des de Biblioteques de Barcelona s’han realitzat diverses accions destacades, com el podcast “Ciència imprescindible”, que va sorgir amb la idea de construir un «Currículum científic de la ciutadania»; el Technovation Girls, un programa que uneix la tecnologia i l'emprenedoria, proposant a noies que confeccionin una aplicació del mòbil per resoldre un problema social; i actualment dos nous projectes de s’estan començant a configurar: BiblioLlavors (B. Collserola – Josep Miracle) i Cop de mà (B. Camp de l’Arpa-Caterina Albert). Dins el programa BiblioLab, són diverses les programacions a recalcar, com el BiblioLab de Ciència i Ciència Jove (B. Sagrada Família – Josep M. Ainaud de Lasarte), l’ American Space (B. Ignasi Iglésias – Can Fabra) o la Zona Gaming (B. Zona Nord).

Ángel Borrego, va presentar les conclusions de dos estudis sobre la col•laboració de personal bibliotecari amb grups d’investigació en el desenvolupament d’activitats de recerca. Els resultats mostren un creixent nombre de publicacions en col•laboració amb investigadors al voltant de quatre temes: treballs sobre biblioteconomia (bibliometria, gestió de dades, etc.) publicats a revistes d’altres disciplines; educació universitària i alfabetització informacional; revisions sistemàtiques i metanàlisis; i col•laboracions en les àrees de recerca dels grups d’investigació. Un estudi qualitatiu posterior va posar de manifest que el personal bibliotecari desenvolupa diferents tasques al llarg de tot el procés de recerca i que la coautoria ofereix beneficis al personal bibliotecari, especialment l’increment de la satisfacció laboral i la millora de la reputació tant individual com del servei de biblioteca en el seu conjunt.

Gema Santos, també professora de la UB, va presentar la ponència “Biblioteques acadèmiques i ciència oberta: aspectes facilitadors i barreres”, compartint els resultats d’un estudi realitzat dins el projecte de recerca estatal Open Science Spain. La recerca analitza les percepcions del professional bibliotecari de REBIUN (Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias Españolas) respecte els factors facilitadors i barreres, grau de coneixement i formació en ciència oberta. Properament, es preveu la publicació d'un article científic en base a aquesta recerca.

Les biblioteques milenàries, la disrupció digital i la ciència oberta

Lluís Anglada (director de l’Àrea de Ciència Oberta del CSUC) va parlar sobre les biblioteques mil•lenàries, la disrupció digital i el seu rol actual en la ciència oberta. Segons Anglada, les biblioteques són mil•lenàries perquè han canviat amb el pas del temps. A partir de l’any 2000 podem parlar de la disrupció digital en la informació, i s’estan produint canvis importants com ara el descobriment en comptes de la cerca, la voluntat de la mateixa informació de fluir lliurement, i la substitució del treball de les persones per les màquines. Quant al moviment Open Science, el defineix com la “realització de la disrupció digital en el món de la informació per a la recerca”, sent una “reacció a les distorsions de la ciència actual” (oligopoli, tardança en la publicació, sistemes propietaris, barreres per accedir, desigualtats territorials…). Això afecta les biblioteques, especialment les de recerca, doncs passem de la propietat de la informació a la seva usabilitat, de la informació com a objecte a la seva capacitat de ser vista i reutilitzada, i això canvia els perfils i les oportunitats professionals. En aquest punt de la seva presentació, Anglada va demanar al públic assistent que votés entre continuar amb la seva visió de les biblioteques del demà, o la de LIBER al respecte. Per aclaparadora majoria va guanyar el vot a la seva pròpia visió, que va definir com que el seu valor passarà, o ha de passar, de les col•leccions als serveis. Per fer aquest canvi, precisament una de les passes és abraçar l’OS, “convertint-se en l’agent aglutinador i coordinador dels diferents serveis que hauran de treballar per facilitar els molts canvis que viuran els investigadors en el procés de la recerca”.

Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona

Xavier Lasauca, va focalitzar en les xarxes socials i altres recursos que el web 2.0 proporciona. Aquestes eines 2.0 són recursos molt útils per, d’una banda, comunicar la recerca i socialitzar el coneixement i, de l’altra, millorar la reputació digital del personal investigador i incrementar la difusió, la visibilitat i l’impacte de la seva recerca. En la seva ponència, Xavier Lasauca va explicar per què és important per al personal investigador la comunicació de la recerca utilitzant les xarxes socials, quin és el suport normatiu que acompanya aquest mandat de comunicar la recerca i com es pot des de les biblioteques donar suport als investigadors per tal de donar compliment a aquest mandat.
