Apollo Space shuttle details Apollo Space Program has paid about US$170billion to accomplish this major tasks.
Apollo 7 Apollo 7 was the first manned Apollo mission to fly and it was launched on 10/11/1968. It had made 163 orbits around  E arth.
Apollo 8 Apollo 8 was the first missions to take human to the moon and go back to Earth. It was launched on 12/21/1968.
Apollo 9 Apollo 9 was the first manned test of the Lunar Module. A Lunar Module is the portion of the Apollo spacecraft in which two astronauts landed on the moon's surface and then returned to the orbiting command module.   Apollo 9 was launched on 3/03/1969.
Apollo 10 Apollo 10 was the first space shuttle of the Apollo Program to orbit around the moon. It was launched on 5/18/1969.
Apollo 11 Apollo 11 was an important space shuttle because it had actually  LANDED  on the moon and had put down the flag of America in the moon. It was launched on 7/16/1969.
Apollo 12 Apollo 12 had a slight accident before launching: a lighting had struck it. It caused some damages but it was possible to launch. It was launched on 11/14/1969.
Apollo 13 Apollo 13 was famous for the “disaster” of the Oxygen Tank blowing up. It was very dangerous but they managed to get home.  O2 tank
Apollo 14 Apollo 14 had this mission of going to space but it had came back after 10 years back to Earth.
Apollo 15 Apollo 15 was the first use of the Lunar Rover. Astronauts rode over it 27 kilometers. It was also the first Apollo space walk.
Apollo 16 Apollo 16’s malfunction almost scrubbed landing.  It stayed 3 days, and got Lunar Rover up to almost 18 kph.
Apollo 17 Apollo 17 is the space shuttle which took the last man (so far) to space and it is so far the last Apollo shuttle.
