the Student Booklet.
3. Answer the questions in Part A on the scannable answer sheet provided.
4. Write your answers to the questions in Parts B and C in the Student Booklet, showing all
your work.
5. You may start with any part of the examination.
6. Dictionaries are not permitted. Only the Question Booklet, the Student Booklet and the
Reference Document (sheet of formulas and quantities and diagrams of the technical object)
may be used.
7. You may use a calculator (with or without a graphic display) and a ruler.
8. During the examination, students are strictly forbidden to have in their possession any
electronic device (smart phone, portable media player, smart watch, etc.) that can be used
to communicate, surf the Internet, translate texts, or create, save or consult data. Any
student who violates this rule will be expelled from the examination room and will be
considered to have cheated on the examination.
9. Hand in the Question Booklet, the Student Booklet, the Reference Document and the
scannable answer sheet at the end of the examination.
Note: Each question is worth four marks.
All the data and programs stored in your calculator’s memory must be erased before the

Verify the information indicated in Sections 1 and 2 of the scannable answer sheet. 2. Stick the student identification label or fill in the required information on the cover page of the Student Booklet. 3. Answer the questions in Part A on the scannable answer sheet provided. 4. Write your answers to the questions in Parts B and C in the Student Booklet, showing all your work. 5. You may start with any part of the examination. 6. Dictionaries are not permitted. Only the Question Booklet, the Student Booklet and the Reference Document (sheet of formulas and quantities and diagrams of the technical object) may be used. 7. You may use a calculator (with or without a graphic display) and a ruler. 8. During the examination, students are strictly forbidden to have in their possession any electronic device (smart phone, portable media player, smart watch, etc.) that can be used to communicate, surf the Internet, translate texts, or create, save or consult data. Any student who violates this rule will be expelled from the examination room and will be considered to have cheated on the examination. 9. Hand in the Question Booklet, the Student Booklet, the Reference Document and the scannable answer sheet at the end of the examination. Note: Each question is worth four marks.
