Goonj provided relief to areas in Nepal and India affected by disasters such as earthquakes and cyclones. They established a base camp in Purnea, Bihar to assess needs and distribute essential supplies like food, blankets, and medical aid to over 120 villages. Goonj focused on dignified relief by having communities participate in rebuilding efforts in exchange for supplies through their "Cloth for Work" program, constructing over 115 community assets. Moving forward, Goonj aims to further support over 400 additional villages through livelihood generation, education support, sanitation and infrastructure projects, and addressing menstrual hygiene needs.
