Google was founded in 1998 by Stanford graduate students Larry Page and Sergey Brin. They built a search engine called BackRub which analyzed links to determine page importance. Google's goals are to accelerate innovation, strengthen brand loyalty through transformation, and facilitate access to information worldwide in every language. One of Google's main challenges has been adapting to mobile devices which add pressure to revamp online marketing. Google focuses on simplicity, constant adaptation and expansion, and putting customers first.
