Analyzing The Pool Scene In The Fits
The scene in The Fits that I decided to make a close reading of was the scene in
which Toni and Maia are standing in the middle of the pool (52:10 54:00). I found
that this scene had a large amount of symbolic meaning, and utilized a good variety
of artistic decisions that aided in the dramatic action, and opened up some social
issues to the audience. First of all this scene was shot with a handheld camera. The
