report describes a multiple myeloma patient presented with spinal cord compression
and illustrates the aspects of differential diagnosis, the use of laboratory and imaging

Multiple myeloma accounts for 1% of all malignancies and 10% of haematological
malignancies. Ninety eight percent of cases occur over the age of 40 years with the
median age of diagnosis at 66 years old.
Multiple myeloma is characterized by plasma cell accumulation in the bone marrow
commonly localized in the spine. 80 90% of patients develop myeloma bone disease
at some stage of their disease. Myeloma bone disease associated morbidities include
bone pain, pathological fractures, spinal cord compression and hypercalcaemia. Bony
lesion in myeloma is lytic in nature and pathological fracture is a frequent
complication. Spinal cord compression is a complication of pathological fracture of
spinal column or extension of vertebral body myeloma lesion. Imaging techniques are
essential to identify the extent of intramedullary and extramedullary foci, and to
evaluate disease progression. A multidisciplinary approach is needed in the

that people fall in lovewith. I chose this book because I am a fan of Nicholas Sparks
books and my aunt recommended it to me. True Believer is to entertain readers

The solvothermal approach for the synthesis of NMOFs was reported by two
scientists. In their research, they avidly investigated the transformation of the particle
morphology during the synthesis process. They added N, N phenylenebis
(salicylideneime) dicarboxylic acid solution which was in DMSO to DMF solution
which composed of two equivalents of Zn (OAc) 2. They observed that one
equivalent of zinc ions coordinates to the pocket of the salena and the remaining zinc
ions equivalent coordinates to metalloligands. They further heated the resulting
solution at 120в„ѓ for thirty minutes. As the heating proceeded they discovered that
the nanowires were changing into nanocubes through the intrastuctural fusion and
accumulation. They discovered that by varying the reaction conditions they were
capable of tuning the cubes sizes. The smaller nanoparticle cubes were obtained by
reducing the solubility of the nanowires via application of poor solvent mixture or
lowering their temperatures.

Many groups of people have experienced disenfranchisement over the years. Some
groups included people suffering in political prisons to the of abusement towards
the elderly people all over the world. The mentally ill are a part of this vast group
of people. Mental illness is any disease of the mind and also the psychological state
of someone who has emotional or behavioral problems that are serious enough to
require psychiatric intervention. People with different mental disorders are given
different kinds of medical care, given different treatment by everyday people, and

Jails, at the time, are the only place that the mental can go right now because they
can not say no to anyone; therefor, the mentally ill are being dropped on the front
step without any kinds of treatments and now have to deal with a criminal record.
Some states allow police officers to come into a person home and escort them to a
jail if they have been reported as mentally ill. These patients are treated badly
because they are running out of places to be put. The living conditions in mental
hospitals are not very clean. New York Daily News reported that psychiatric
hospitals are like living in hell (NY Daily News). The group interviewed Arthur

In the Donald Hall poem, My Son, My Executioner, Hall depicted a father who has
grown old, holding their young child in their arms. Hall portrayed strong imagery
of a fatherly figure giving up everything to care for his young child. The tone of the
poem is both happy and dark. Hall s theme showed that once a person has a child, the
parent s life is completely changed. My Son, My Executioner is a very well written
poem with a deep, true meaning that readers could relate to. The imagery helps Hall

This poem could either be taken in a happy tone or a dark tone. The main theme
Hall is trying to express is that once a person has a child, their lives are changed
forever. In the first line, My son, my executioner, is saying that once a child comes
into the world, in a sense the parent s life is taken away. Yet as morbid as that
sounds, the parent s life is made eternal through their child forever. The father
knows his time is now focused on his son. There is a reversal of roles, as the child
gets bigger and stronger, the father gets weaker and will die. Sweet death, small
son, our instrument/of immortality. Another problem was that the parents had their
child young. That day the child was born, their lives were changed and it will
never be the same again. We twenty five and twenty two. In conclusion, Donald
Hall portrays a father who has grown old, holding their young child in their arms. .
The way Hall used imagery, showed the reader a fatherly figure that gives up
everything to care for his son. The tone of the poem was important because it let
the reader know that the poem could be seen as happy or dark. The theme showed
