Relationship Between Child Development And Early Child Care
Abstract
Over the past several years, researches have study the relationship between child development, early
child care, and the importance of early children s experiences. Although researchers have found that
most children in day care don t suffer from the experience, recent research suggest that child care
hours is related with externalized behaviors. Child care has demonstrated to be a predictor in a
child s academic success later in life. High quality child care predicts higher vocabulary scores
and advanced cognitive outcomes, but also exposure to child care centers reported externalizing
problems such a behavioral problems and conflicts. However, another research indicates that
children exposed to non maternal child care become identical from their peers with little or no
history of non maternal care from a social emotional perspective. In addition, a research shows that
low quality care is related to poor performance; however, the amount of time children spend in non
maternal care outside the home does not appear to be related to child development. Even though
child care does not appear to be related with child development, researchers discuss the potential
positive and negative long term effects in their behavior later in life in the following areas:
academically, emotionally, and socially.
Long Term Effects of Child Care
The 20th century marks a period in which families increasingly relied on child care as more
mothers of children work outside the home.

1960s Social Culture
There has been many times in history where social culture has changed. In fact, social culture is
always changing. In the early 1900s to the 1920s, many social changes came into play. The
automobile became more and more accessible and convenient as roads were paved. Fashion had
changed from layers upon layers and the idea of modesty for women to the bold, daring flapper
girl and men wearing suits. After World War II, another social change; furthermore, one to
remember occurred the baby boom. A new generation was born full of new ideas of fashion, diet,
lifestyle, and taste in music. This is the generation that would soon become familiar with the
famous quote of Timothy Leary, Tune out, turn on, and drop out. This is also the generation that
completely disregarded their parent s traditional beliefs and became members of an era of intense
individualism where eccentricity was popular. This eccentricity included the use of Marijuana and
psychedelic drugs, vegetarianism diets, birth control, stand out fashion, and a new taste in music.

The children of this generation had been raised in the security and prosperity of the 1950 s,
unlike their parents who had grown up during the Great Depression. During the 1960 s, the baby
boom generation began to rediscover the works of Hermann Hesse. Hermann Hesse was a
German writer who expressed rebelliousness against traditional culture and a search for a spiritual
meaning in his work. As they found interest in Hesse s words, the counterculture began to form. In
addition, the Beat Generation, a group of American artists and writers, created artwork and
literature alongside of Hesse s. They too also rejected traditional and artistic forms, referring to
themselves as the hip people. The Beat Generation had led to the creation of the word hippie. With
the help of Hesse and the Beat Generation, the counterculture grew ever so

Hate Crimes Essay
Crimes
I.Intro What is a hate crime
. A hate crime is when a person intentionally selects a victim because of the race, color, religion,
national origin, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. A person who commits a hate crime can
come from any background and be any race. The term hate crime is meant to differentiate criminal
behavior that is caused by prejudice from behavior that is motivated by greed jealously, anger,
politics and like. Hate groups differ from one another in terms of membership, ideology and
activities but do share one thing in common; they direct violence towards and against groups of
people they do not understand. Most people committing hate crimes feel they are just doing Gods

Despite its name, the NBPP s founding was independent; it is not an official successor organization
to the Black Panther Party. Members of the original Black Panther Party have insisted that this
party is illegitimate and have vociferously objected that there is no new Black Panther Party.
Critics characterize what they see as the NBPP s actively destructive extremism by pointing to
examples such as Muhammad s Million Youth March , a youth equivalent of the Million Man
March in Harlem in which 6000 people protested police brutality but also featured a range of
speakers calling for the extermination of whites in South Africa. The rally ended in scuffles with
the NYPD as Muhammad urged the crowd to attack those officers who had attempted to
confiscate the NBPP members guns. Chairs and bottles were thrown at the police but only a few
in the conflict suffered injuries. Perhaps more significantly was the fact that Al Sharpton
appeared and spoke at this event, and was criticized later for taking part in its controversial
rhetoric. The Million Youth March became an annual event thereafter, but rapidly lost popularity
as time progressed. The group believes that 9/11 was conspiracy and feels that Muslims working
at the Trade center knew and called out sick. They aren t as violate as KKK

Why I Choose French Language Course Essay
If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his
own language, that goes to his heart, Nelson Mandela once declared. Nowadays there are over
6,500 languages in our world, but sadly the only 571 million, which is 8.3% of the world
population are second language speakers according to a research by Dr. Bernard Comrie s article
for the Encarta Encyclopedia (1998). The foreign language that I would like to learn besides
English is French language. In France, the first language spoken is French language. Through this

used in the continental manner, this mean the fork in the left hand, prongs facing down and the
knife in the right hand. French etiquette prohibits the placing of hands below the table and the
placing of elbows on it. Those are some French food culture that I think we should learn from them.
Other fact that I have learned about French culture is they almost have a similar culture with

Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism. Because of its respect of religious freedom, there

A Public Service Announcement ( Psa ) Can Help Reduce The...
A Public Service Announcement (PSA) can help reduce the number of distracted driving accidents
by explaining the horrible effects of distracted driving and the best ways to prevent distracted
driving. Currently, the main source of distracted driving is cell phones. Cell phones cause a person
to text, call, and use social media while driving; all factors that can be a deadly distraction while
driving. A cell phone causes much distraction for the driver and may cause the driver to have a car
crash that not only affects themselves, but also the surrounding people. As a community, we should
be educating people about distracted driving in order to prevent the problem and decrease the
number of accidents. Public Service Announcements are important as they provide people with
evidence, resources to limit distraction while driving, and helpful/important information. Teenagers,
children, and even adults will be able to be informed. Even though educating people through a
Public Service Announcementis important, it might not be viewed by most people and will not be
effective towards the younger viewers. Teenagers and even adults might dismiss a Public Service
Announcement because the announcement does not grab their attention or because the person
might not care.
Over the past years, cell phones have completely transformed how Americans communicate.
Unavoidably, these wireless devices have made a huge impact on the nation s transportation system.

wherein it s exaggeration wouldn t occur in real life but rather reflects the negative aspect of
scientific advancements especially on how genetic engineering developed and thus, leads to
devastation of humanbeings as well as social, religion and cultural issues. The flow of the novel was

Rose In Bloom Alternate Ending
Rose in Bloom Rose looked down at Mandy who lay, arms and feet spread apart and held by
black cuffs and restrains, on the bed. Mandy looked up at her, naked and expectant. Her
platinum blonde hair was down now and spread on the bed above her head. Rose liked how she
looked, restrained and free at the same time. She wanted to savor this sight, simple and delicious.
She loved finding different ways to bind and restrain Mandy. They used the bed frequently
because it was easy. Rose had purchased, with Marcus guidance, a restraint system that worked
well with her door, and restraints that she could use to bind Mandy to chair and other furniture.
Each place opened up new modes of exploration for Rose, both exploring Mandy s body in a sensual

coincidence. Mandy was from a small Illinois farm. Nancy was originally from Kansas. Rose
questioned him over dinner, which Mandy served diligently before kneeling on the floor to wait
for their invitation to join the table. Not everyone around me is a rural girl. Marcus gave his
assent to Mandy to join them at the table after Rose indicated her own. Nicole is purely a city
girl. That actually made things a little challenging for us. When she first entered my service, I
was not quite what she expected a Dominant to be. Rose had a hard time seeing that. Marcus was
everything she expected. As she educated herself as well, reading books, visiting websites, and
participating in online groups as Marcus suggested, she had found that the way he treated his
submissives and the way he carried himself was very much how a Dominant should behave.
When I decided to take on Nichole, I was not the confident man you see before you. I thought I

My Challenging Week
It has been customary for me to begin these entries with words of how interesting it has been,
and unfortunately, nothing has changed. I have had a very challenging and interesting week. It
started off with trivial car issues. My car broke down and I have been renting a car since last
Saturday. Sunday the Men s Choir at the Church celebrated their 18th Anniversary. I was asked
by one of the members if I could stay until the program. I had already planned to go home, take a
nap, and then return, but when he asked I felt compelled to stay. I stayed at the Church form 9:00
7:00 pm. They had over 12 guest choirs to come and each choir sang two selections. I thoughtI
would take advantage of this opportunity to mingle with the people and Mrs. Walls was one of
the first I encountered. As she sat down next to me I could tell immediately by her star glasses
and wrap on her head that she was flamboyant outwardly as well as inwardly. I told her I liked
her glasses and how unique they were and she responded, I know, if anyone else wore these they
would look stupid. They only look good on me. I smiled trying to contain my laughter. She then
went on to talk and throughout the course of the conversation, I heard many words of anger,
frustration, and hurt projected towards the members of the church. I looked at this as the perfect
opportunity inject myself as preacher/teacher. Taking from Willimon; you have to set the message

Reflections on Old Age with Billy Graham Essay
An important sector of society is older adults and their various contributions to future
generations. Billy Graham s book Nearing Home: Life, Faith and Finishing Well sheds light on
the various attributes of growing old and about life in general. An important idea he expresses is
the influence older adults have on society as well as their ability to leave a spiritual legacy which
is far more important than material inheritances. I also believe that older adults are essential to
society and that Graham s opinions are in tune with society and are useful to readers of all ages.
Graham also discusses two major themes of adult development: retirementand primary aging. His
book can be used to help professionals working with older adults in a... Show more content on

He notes, peer pressure has always been around and that the older generation should be looking
for ways to encourage the younger because they are constantly bombarded with wrong teaching,
poor examples and pressure tactics (Graham, 2011, p. 115). Influencing the younger generations
is important but Graham emphasizes that the older generation needs to stay true to themselves
and to their faith, that in the end their authenticity will open the door to impacting younger
generations. Billy Graham (2011) considers this a privilege for the older generation and shows
that the Bible teaches older generations to pass on their knowledge to those who are younger
(pp.116 117). Lastly, he calls those in older and late adulthood to be all that God has called them
to be and remember even their attitudes and the way they chose to live out their later years
makes an impression on the younger generation. Leaving a legacy is another significant idea in
Billy Graham s book (Graham, 2011, 118). It highlights the importance of a life well lived as well
as its impact. He discusses that although the intensity and times of influence on one s children and
grandchildren diminishes with age that is not a reason to stop, because the older generation still
has an impact. He writes, ...the greatest legacy you can pass on to your children and grandchildren
is not your money or other material things...The greatest legacy you can pass on to them is your
character and

Germany s Experience On A German Based Carrier
Germany
This was my first opportunity to visit Europe and experience a completely different culture. My
learnings began as soon as I boarded the plane for my non stop flight to Munich on the German
based Lufthansa airlines. The experience on a German based carrier was unlike anything I had
experienced on the American based airlines I had flown in the past. The crew were incredibly
hospitable and made sure that everyone was taken care of from take off to landing. Everything on
the flight was included, entertainment, on demand movies, full hot meals and beverages. Even

In addition there is a 5.5 percent solidarity surtax. This brings to the tax burden to 16.7 percent of
the German GDP. With the government taking in these tax dollars the German government spends
approximately 44.3% of the GDP. Most importantly Germanys budget currently enjoys a surplus.
(http://www.heritage.org/index/country/germany). This is in sharp contrast to the United States
which has one of the highest corporate tax rates, currently topping out at 35%, while the United
States only spends 39% of the GDP. (http://www.heritage.org/index/country/unitedstates) This
comparison puts clearly into focus why this is such a major point of interest in the current election.
It appears that the cost of being in business in Germany is less than the United States and therefore
makes them more competitive. I have seen this to be true in the amount of United States companies
that have tried to relocate their headquarters to European countries to enjoy the corporate tax
advantages.

The Foundation Of The Roman Culture Essay
Nathaniel Spina HIST 103 T/R 3:50 5:15 History Question #2 Question 1 The foundation of the
Roman culture had a strong Etruscan influence due to their taking control of Rome circa 650 BC.
The Etruscans transformed Rome into an actual, functioning city through urban planning and civil
engineering projects. Although the Etruscans were hostile in their take over, the Romans would
not have accomplished what they did alone. It was not until circa 500 BC that Rome successfully
shook off Etruscan rule. Once they were free, the Romans established a republic, a form of
government also to be used by many countries later. Rome set up a constitution consisting of a
senate, consuls and tribunes. The Roman senate became the most powerful governing body. Rather
than advising the head of state, it elected the chief executives, called consuls. Consuls were
ordinary magistrates that had the authority to command a military force. Tribune was a title given
to various officers within the Roman army. Rome waged war on its neighboring cities. In order to
defend themselves against the Etruscan cities, the cities of Latium allied to defend each other in an
alliance called the Latin League. Eventually, the Romans were able to conquer their most
dangerous early rival, the city of Veii. However, they were setback soon after when the Gauls
sacked Rome. After the sack, the Romans recovered and continued their conquests with a bigger,
better army. Rome and the Latin League next waged war against the

Symbolism Of Gatsby
In the book The Great Gatsby I ve been able to characterize Gatsby as a polite man explaining
that he was a very helpful man and cared about others. Gatsby is also characterized as a very
wealthy man. He lives in a big mansion all alone, he is a resident in a town called West egg.
Their is a symbol that I recognized throughout the movie, Gatsby s Mansion it symbolizes two
broader themes of the novel. First, it represents the grandness and emptiness of the 1920s boom:
Gatsby justifies living in it all alone by filling the house weekly with celebrated people. Second,
the house is the physical symbol of Gatsby s love for Daisy. Gatsby used his new money to
create a place that he thought rivaled the houses of the old money that had taken her away.
Gatsby throws these big parties to get money so that he can spend it on other things like Daisy
for an example. West Egg is where a lot of wealthy people live. It is a very nice place there are
nice shops and restaurants. Gatsby states a quote about his wealthiness. Old money, new money,
no money. He is describing that anybody that has money should use it wisely. Their is a man
named Nick, he is a resident at West egg and lives almost next to Gatsby s house and they like to
talk and spend time together. Nick had a cousin named Daisy Buchanan. She is married to Tom
Buchanan. However, she is having an affair with Gatsby. Not to mention Tom already knows that
Daisy and Gatsby are together and having an affair with one another.

Yesterday around noon, Rome witnessed the fall of a mighty leader named Julius Caesar. The
conspirators involved in this murder were witnessed by the names of Cassius, Casca, Cinna,
Trebonius, Ligarius, Decius Brutus, Metellus Cimber and Brutus.
It was supposed to be an ordinary gathering like any other at the Capitol on March 15th, 44 B.C.E,
but things ended up turning out very differently from what was normally expected. It started out
with Caesar heading to the Senate house with all of the conspirators surrounding him. Caesar sees

This attempt quickly failed when she said that his hubris just took over. I knew that Caesar should
have stayed away from the Senate house yesterday, but I guess his pride just took over his mind, it
was just all too much, Calpurnia sobbed. This has turned out to be the most tragic moment in my
life and I hope those conspirators kneel to the gods, for they have upset the heavens with the killing
of the mightiest leader Rome has ever seen.
It wasn t just Calpurnia that was upset, Mark Antony, a good friend of Caesar, was completely
depressed and raging with anger at the same time. Those worthless blocks of stones, how could
their hearts be so dark to inflict pain on one of the most generous and good hearted people of

Some Romans on the other hand believed Caesar s death was a gift from the gods and portrayed a
sign of peace in Rome.
He deserved his death, he was becoming too conceited, Cassius, a main conspirator in the murder,
explains as he was walking on the streets yesterday evening.

The laws of gravity operate differently in space then those very same laws operate on earth. For
example, in space, gravity is suspended and things tend to be far more weightless, and floating
about. If you were aiming for an object to land at a certain destination, it would most likely
never make it there without some type of guidance system to manipulate and use the laws of
gravity. On earth, the law of gravity pulls objects down from great heights to great depths in a
matter of minutes or seconds. Depending on the purpose and where you are, it takes an awareness
of the laws like gravity to use that law correctly and fulfill your purpose in space or on earth.
Likewise, style is a law of writing as gravity is a law. Like the law of gravity, we have to be
aware of the laws of style. Gravity exists whether we like it or not. Style also exists whether we
want it to or not. If you ignore the laws of gravity, you will either crash to your death, or be left
floating in space. With style, a writer will either carry the reader to the intended destination, or
leave the reader floating like a man lost in space, without any understanding on what your point was.
I have established a concept of style as a law of writing. This doesn t take away the fact that it is a
complex law. The very word style eludes people like the mysteries of deep space. People chase after
different types of styles, pay for the coolest style, or even resent

Canada Is Not A Free, Country We Can Compare Brian...
Understanding what it means to be free and determining whether Canada is indeed a free
country we can compare Brian Tamanaha s four themes of liberty from On the Rule of Law to
see if Canada shares similarities with that of what Tamanaha speaks of. In On the Rule of Law
Tamanaha refers to the four themes of liberty, being political liberty, legal liberty, personal
liberty, and institutionalized perversion of liberty, which he notes as characteristics of beneficial
sacrifices that we give up as free individuals for personal security and social order. Living under
laws can limit the full extent of freedom that we may have as people, but it can also be noted,
that with no laws we are potentially a danger to ourselves and others. In modern society,
primarily democratic societies, having no laws is simply not a reality so when we do give up
our freedom, this exchange for stability must be beneficial to us and not an agreement to live
under state oppression. Observing the way Canada is formed and while we are not entirely free
living under Canadian laws, however, due to the country s incentives taken to ensure that our
basic liberties are secured it be seen that citizens indeed benefit from the sacrifices they make
limiting their freedom, yet still being free to a certain degree. 1 Analyzing Tamanaha s four themes
of liberty the first theme he mentions is political liberty which can be defined as self rule being
essentially the ability to be ourselves the

satisfaction? On March 19, 2003 a war was waged under public scrutiny, to destroy the Baathist
regime headed by the Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein. This pivotal point in United States history
marked the beginning of public concern about political corruption within our government as a
means to convey personal satisfaction.
National security became the ground breaking concern in the United States after the tragic events
unfolded on September 11, 2001. Many questions were brought to the attention of the public eye,

With presidential insight overlooking Iraq s government with a fine tooth comb, the Bush
Administration decided to turn to public support as a means to increase the awareness in Iraq.
This attention was based off the defiance amongst Iraq, and the United Nation (UN) ability to
provide full access inside the country of Iraq. As public concern grew on the topic of Iraq, so did
the presidential tone and manner when comparing Iraq to the central front in the War on Terror.
This began a political push from leaders in and outside the U.S. to implement harsher penalties on
Iraq or any country that didn t obey UN weapons inspections (resolution 1441). The resolution 1441
stated that if UN inspection was ever detoured from leaders in the country would be subjected to
war. Another country siding with the Bush administration to dissimulate and destroy the Baathist
regime in Iraq was Britain and its Prime Minister Tony Blair.
After the invasion of Iraq occurred, documents that were obtained from Mr. Blair s office that
depicted President Bush already mind set on invading Iraq. Strictly emphasizing that no matter
resolution 1441 was compiled by the Iraqi regime or not. Even to go as far as to provoking war
with Iraq whether WMD was found or not during the UN inspections. Other CIA information
informed the U.S. people that 935 statements on Iraq s potential threat to national security were
falsely stated by the Bush Administration.

different types of licenses that the author needs to get in order to open the nightclub. Since it is a

license and many others. The author wants to sell alcohol, to have live concerts, to let people

Theodore Roosevelt s Shaping of America Essay
Theodor Roosevelt, our 26th president, was a gruff politician who had a huge impact on
America. He is known for his accomplishments in the political, social, and business world during
the Progressive Era. His accomplishments helped shape America, and because of this influence,
he is one of the faces found on Mount Rushmore. Theodor Roosevelt was born on October 27,
1858, in New York, New York. As a child he was frail and timid, and as a result, most of his
education was through tutors in his home before he went to college. Around the age of 13 he

Analysis Of Toni Morrison s Song Of Solomon
In Toni Morrison s award winning novel Song of Solomon, she fills the novel with deep
symbolism. Macon Dead III, nicknamed Milkman, is a symbolic character throughout the
novel. Not only is he as a character symbolic, but his name is as well. Milkman s aunt, Pilate, has
a significant and symbolic role in the novel. To her father, she represents the child who killed
her own mother and took away his wife. In the Bible, Pontius Pilate is the Roman who is
responsible for the execution of Jesus. With that information, one can say that the name Pilate
seems to coincide with her father, Macon Dead s, opinion on what Pilate represents. What s
ironic is that Pilate is a good person and is murdered in the end, just as Jesus was by Pontius
Pilate. Guitar, Milkman s best friend, is another significant character in the novel who portrays
deep symbolism. Guitar is named after something that he wanted very badly as a child. I saw it
when my mother took me downtown with her. I was just a baby. It was one of those things where
you guess how many beans in the glass jar and you win a guitar. I cried for it, they said. And
always asked about it. This unreachable goal describes his character throughout the novel. He is

Drinking Water Quality in Mexico City Essay
Mexico City is among the largest, busiest, and most populated places on the planet. Being one of

vital for life. The reliability of drinking waterdepends on its quality and Mexico Cityis confronted
with many problems relating to water because the population continues to grow. Thus, the

network that the water levels of the most significant freshwater lake in the entirety is Mexico
Chapala Lake which lies in Jalisco are negatively affected. Over the past two decades, the
transfer of water from external sources to Mexico City has resulted in the historic decrease of
water levels of freshwater bodies, including Chapala Lake. In the last years of the twentieth
century it was estimated that Chapala Lake s water levels dropped about five meters (Ezcurra and
Mazari Hiriart, 1996).
Water has become such a scarce necessity that the city is now taking larger amounts of water
from the Cutzamala and Lerma River Basins. Mexico City does provide for itself a decent
amount of water approximately seventy percent (Tortajada and Castelan, 2003). Even though
Mexico City supports itself with water from the basin it lies in Basin of Mexico it does so with
repercussions. The most difficult problems the city is facing occur because the groundwater is
being mined: they are removing more than naturally flows in. Mexico City is situated on a dry
lake bed, and it is suffering from soil subsidence. They are overdrafting groundwater so much that
the city sinks at an average rate of thirty centimeters each year (Alcocer and Williams, 1996).

Portrayal Of Women In Herland
The story of Herland depicts mostly about feminism, feminism is the advocating rights of
women to gain equality to men. Herland is about a society that is made up of entire women and
the need for male counterpart is not necessary. The story is narrated through the eyes of a male
narrator Von, Jeff and Terry. Three different points of view were given about how women should
be treated. During reading the novel it was seen that Herland uses the stereotypes of females and
used it to their advantages where they depict all females willing and able to complete the task that
modern society would see fit for a male. The women in the novel clothing were not provocative
however, it was built to convenient to their daily life and also for comfort. They did not show any
flirtatious tendency, and the need of male in any shape or form was never necessary for them. They
were mostly mothers, builders and, farmers. The women lived together peacefully without caring
about genderbiases in the world.
The story was based on three males who was filled with boyish intention about a civilization of
women waiting for a male to come and rescue them. But in contrast to this, the women of Herland
did not need saving. This Utopia was created to show the negative flaws that society has about a
female, for example, society will always think that a female is always a damsel in distress and
always need saving. The three males Von, Terry and Jeff are such exaggerations of masculinity, they

They both use the city to hide their goings on from the people they value on Long Island. In the
story, there is a distinction between West Egg, where Long Island is located, and East Egg on
the other side. The people who live in West Egg are considered to be the recently developed
wealthy individuals. Moreover, separated by a long river, on the other side is East Egg where
people made of generations of wealth live. However, Fitzgerald tells us, in Nicks point of view,
directly that East Egg is the wealthier, more elite of the two. Despite all his money, Gatsby lives
in West Egg, suggesting that he has not been able to complete his transformation into a member

example of a typical couple living there being overindulged. We learn that Daisy being a mother

between their houses the very distance between West Egg and East Egg, representing a barrier
between the two lovers. Valley of ashes shows the less happier side of the American Dream. Wilson

Othello on the other hand is a well rounded character, and he is believable. Othello is a man who
is filled with jealousy and mistrust he learns that his wife may be sleeping with another man.
Anyone who has been in love has had this feeling once and a while, and that feeling is being fed
by the person of whom they most trust, it can be devastating for that person. As Iago continually
feeds Othello s suspicion, his hurt and mistrust grows for his wife, until he finally kills her. The
character of Oedipus is a round character, but cannot be believed due to the absurd circumstances of
his marriage with Jocasta. Othello s round character can be believed, because jealousy invades all

learns the truth about himself, about the overly dissipated acts of coupling with his mother and
killing his father, his wife Jocasta slays herself in embarrassment. Her death is thus an indirect
result of Oedipus wrongdoings. He then blinds himself in order to inflict self punishment. Othello

Iran s Foreign Policy since the Early 1990 s
1 INTRODUCTION
This essay will broadly discuss Iran s foreign policy since the early 1990 s. First in order to
understand the foreign policy of Iran, the historical background of Iran s foreign policy will be
discussed. Followed by the foreign policy principles, foreign policy principles assist in shaping the
country s foreign policy and its relationship with other countries. After the post Iraq invasion Iran
saw the security void as an opportunity to reshape Iraq in order to prevent it from re emerging as
a strategic threat, although its operation of Iraq s freedom resulted to high levels of insecurity
mainly because other countries failed to see Iraq as a regionally powerful country. Iran s foreign
policy aims and roots are not only mainly pragmatic; they are defensive and based on state
orientated strategic issues.
The research continues to broadly discuss Iran s Foreign policy through the following heading
which is Iran s foreign policy principles, Iran s first revolution, the second revolution, approaches
of the Islamic Revolution, Iran s foreign policy in the light of the Arab revolts and lastly Iran s
foreign policy towards United States. It concludes that despite the fact that Iran has been playing a
major role, it has only accomplished mixed results at best. The following two keys have been
limiting Iran s foreign policy which is because of its contradictory strategies that substantially
contributed. Firstly Iraq s bitterness towards Tehran s interference and

Twelfth Night is referring to the twelfth night after Christmas, Epiphany. Today, the Twelfth Night
after Christmas means the day we take down the decorations, but back in 1600 when the play
was written it had a different meaning. Epiphany was a time for celebrating and partying. People
used to have parties on Twelfth Night and it was traditional to play practical jokes at this time.
These included tricks such as hiding live birds in an empty pie case, so that they flew away when
the startled guests cut open the crusts. It was a mad time full of pranks and confusion, just as in the
play. This name, Twelfth Night , therefore seems appropriate for this play due to all the confusion
and the banter that goes on in the confusing storyline.
In Twelfth Night we see different types of humour. There is the word play, the vulgar humour of
Sir Toby, stupidity of Sir Andrew, Malvolio s foolishness , and the general confusion caused by
Viola s disguise.
Shakespeare used dirty and witty humour in most of his plays but it is perhaps most obvious in
Twelfth Night. He used different types of humour to please all of the people who flocked to see
his plays. There was always an array of people, and they all needed to be kept interested. There
were the peasants that he could entertain with the dirty jokes and humour. An example of this is

the time when Homer brought the rocket into school, she provided Homer with encouragement.
She also convinced Homer and the Rocket Boys to join the science fair. On Homer s 18th

Halo Game Comparison Essay
Since the debut of Halo in 2001, the game has become one of the most iconic first person

creators of Halo released a new game called Destiny; in the game, guardians fight off multiple alien
races in an attempt to destroy an ancient evil known as the Darkness. Many gamers claim that Halo
and Destiny are very different, however, a true Halo fan can identify the similarities between the
two games. Though the two games have small differences, Halo and Destiny are the same in
many ways; the weapons, the enemies fought, and the AI companion system. When a Halo fan
picks up his first weapon in Destiny, whether it be a scout rifle or an auto rifle, he should
instantly be able to acknowledge the similarity in mechanics. In Halo the weapon mechanics are
simple, a player can pick up anything that he can find. In contrast, Destiny has completely

a certain period of time. Emotions can greatly influence the products of our creation, and in turn,
transferred onto the audience. They can bring sadness to what could otherwise be a pleasant
scene, such as a peaceful forest, in Paul CГ©zanne s Rocks in the Forest. On the opposite
spectrum, emotions can reveal how beautiful nature really is like in Claude Monet s The Artist s
Garden at Giverny. These two artists were founding fathers of the impressionist period which was
when the world of art changed drastically. Artists started to paint with more colors and relied
heavily on natural light. Monet is known for his use of strong colors, while CГ©zanne was of the
first to mold impressionism into cubism. Distinct techniques used by two different artists can
portray contrasting moods or feelings even if the paintings share a similar theme.... Show more

Both paintings give a sense of isolation, but Monet s appears happy while CГ©zanne s is
depressing. Monet s use of bright colors is perceived as more light hearted. CГ©zanne used dark
shades of green, brown, and gray, which emphasizes a bleaker feeling. Another distinctive opposite
between the two is their use of lines. Rocks in the Forest and The Artist s Garden at Giverny are
both oil paintings; however, the artist s brush strokes are unalike. Monet had a soft, subtle series
of strokes that really emphasize on each color having its own function in the overall picture, while
CГ©zanne s blended his colors together in rough strokes to bring out the gloomy feeling to the
picture. Both paintings have a distinctive horizon line, although the garden looks welcoming
whereas the forest seems to end on a cliff, giving no way

The Five Steps In The Appeals Process
Most legal argument between state laws is mostly decided in the trial courts or by an
administrative agency. But after a decision has been made, an individual that believe that a legal
error had occurred that hindered his/her case that person may turn to the state s appeal court. The
appeals process involves five steps that often occur right after the other and depending on the prior
step needed to be completed. The first step in the court of appeals require that the individual
appealing ruling to file a notice of appealin a certain frame of time. This time frame rely on the
type of case entail and weather if it s a state issue, depend on which state that the trial took place.
The second step required the appellant to file information.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The third step required both the opposite side and the appellant side to file a briefing with the
appellate court. The briefing provides case lists summarizing the case where precedence has been
created. The fourth step is when both side present an oral arguments. These arguments are
generally short, usually half an hour . The last step involve is when the appellate court gives a
decision explaining how the decision was made. The appeals system is the most important step
because it allows for Checks and Balances inside the judicial system. They will be no guarantee
of true justice given to the people if the appeals process was not available. The court of appeals is
very important because every decision given is added to resolute legal precedence on the issue at
hand. This precedent becomes crucial for all lower courts, this precedent

no means a complete guide, nor should it be used as complete facts or truths. I m going to start
today by explaining the concept of ETL, why it s important, and how we re going to use it. ETL

What programs am I going to use to transform the data? What am I going to do once I have all
the numbers? What kind of visualizations will emphasize the results? All questions you should
have answers to. Step 2: Get Your Data (EXTRACT) This sounds a lot easier than it actually is.
If you re more of a beginner, it s going to be the hardest obstacle in your way. Depending on your
use there are typically more than 1 way to extract data. My personal preference is to use Python,
which is a scripting programming language. It is very strong, and it is used heavily in the
analytic world. There is a Python distribution called Anaconda that already has a lot of tools and
packages included that you will want for Data Analytics. Once you ve installed Anaconda, you ll
need to download an IDE (integrated developer environment), which is separate from Anaconda
itself, but is what interfaces with the programs itself and allows you to code. I recommend
PyCharm. Once you ve downloaded all of the things necessary to extract data, you re going to
have to actually extract it. Ultimately, you have to know what you re looking for in order to be
able to search it and figure it out. There are a number of guides out there that will walk you more
through the technicalities of this process. That is not my goal, my goal is to outline the steps
necessary to analyze data. Step 3: Play With Your Data (TRANSFORM) There are a number of
programs and ways to accomplish this. Most aren t free,

The Roanoke Colony On Roanoke Island
The Roanoke Colony on Roanoke Island was an attempt by Queen Elizabeth I in the late 16th
century to make a permanent English settlement in the New World. In March 1584, Queen
Elizabeth granted Sir Walter Raleigh a charter for the colonization of the area of North America.
This charter said that Raleigh needed to create a colony in North America, or lose his right to
colonization. In April 1584, Raleigh dispatched an expedition led by Philip Amadas and Arthur
Barlowe to explore the Eastern coast of North America. They arrived on Roanoke Islandon July 4
and soon established relations with the natives, the Secotans and Croatoans. Barlowe returned to
England with two Croatans named Manteo and Wanchese, who were able to describe the politics...

In 1587, Raleigh sent a new group of 115 colonists to establish a colony on Chesapeake Bay.
John White, a friend of Raleigh who had accompanied the previous expeditions to Roanoke, led
them. White was later elected Governor and Raleigh named 12 assistants to aid in Roanoke s
settlement. They were ordered to travel to Roanoke first to gather Grenville s men, but when they
arrived in July 1587, they found nothing except a skeleton that may have been the remains of one
of the English garrison. They were counting on these men to help with the new colony, but when
they could find no one, they gave up hope of ever seeing Grenville s men alive. The fleet s
commander, Simon Fernandez, insisted that they establish the new colony on Roanoke. White re
established relations with the Croatans and tried to establish friendly relations with the tribes
Ralph Lane had battled the previous year. The hostile tribes refused to meet with him. Shortly
thereafter, colonist George Howe was killed by an Indian while searching alone for crabs in
Albemarle Sound. Fearing for their lives, the colonists persuaded Governor White to return to
England to explain the colony s desperate situation and ask for help. Left behind were about 115
colonists the remaining men and women who had made the Atlantic crossing plus White s newly
born granddaughter Virginia Dare, the first English child born in the Americas.
White sailed for England in late 1587. Crossing the Atlantic

The Ways Of Non Point Source Pollution During The Great Lakes
The way of Non point source pollution in the Great Lakes
Atmospheric precipitation
Many contaminants settle out of the atmosphere, such as acid rain, the pollutants and nutrients will
transport from distant places by air depositing into the lake as the form of rain. The first pollutants
as atmospheric deposition on the Great Lakes were phosphorus. It is found that about 20 percent
phosphorus entering Lake Michigan comes from the atmosphere by determination of rain, snow and
dust. Since phosphorus pollution generated by this approach cannot be controlled, so it is more
urgent to reduce the phosphorus content of detergent, sewer and effluent fertilizers. People found
fish in a lake of Lake Superior in a remote island containing PCBs and toxaphene, and this place
isolated with no direct way to pollution. This determines the long range transport of pollutants
through the atmosphere and settlement in the lake. In fact the processes of material transport
through atmospheric was very complex. For instance PCBs was insoluble in water, so as to re
enter the atmosphere during evaporation or connected together into small particles. A lot of PCBs
volatilize from the lake, meanwhile, PCBs coming from various parts of the air mass experience
the sedimentation on the lake. Other than that the contaminated sediment is another way to cause
pollution of the lake. This is problems of the most urban industrial areas. Even if there is likely to
remove severely contaminated sediments in

Success For A Business Analyst
Success for a Business Analyst is not that easy to understand. This is because, when a project goes
well, he takes a back seat. But, when there is even the smallest of problems, he is the one in the
firing line. The role of the business analyst is to bring clarity to the project outcomes and getting the
business to own the solutions. The success of a Business Analyst can be measured by answering the
following questions:
a.Does the project deliver the anticipated value and meet the objectives of the business case? Is the
business happy with the value that is delivered?
b.Are the stakeholders aligned around the project concept?
c.Are the stakeholders convinced that the solution being developed is the best possible solution to
the problem ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Every person s suggestions are taken until management is satisfied that all has been done to rectify
the situation. Everything is on track and the project is coming together. Teams are coordinating
with each other and everything is going according to plan. Just then, at the last stage, it all falls
apart. Nothing is as it seems. The project has failed to accomplish what it set out to do. In this
scenario, the business analyst is left hung out to dry, he is blamed and every finger starts pointing at
him.
This is exactly the kind of scenario that a business analyst fears. A business analyst must make sure
that such a situation never arises. Some reasons that cause such failures are:
a.Incomplete requirements: There are situations when, the requirement provided by the business are
not complete and contain holes. Such holes must be filled by questioning and covering all possible
scenarios. A business analyst must make sure that the requirements are clear, scope clearly defined
and all loopholes covered.
b.Lack of user requirement: There are certain scenarios when there is uncertainty in the primary and
secondary users that are involved in the implementation of a requirement. This could be due to poor
communication. A business analyst must make sure that he identifies the correct stakeholders and
engages with them by asking the correct questions.
c.Unrealistic expectations: Not every requirement can be met by the implementation team in terms
of cost, design,

Shaka s Legacy Of The Zulu Nation
Shaka kaSenzangakhona was born in 1787 to a Zulu chief, Senzangakhona, and an orphaned
princess from the small Elangeni clan, Nandi. A man born out of wedlock managed to turn a
small insignificant chiefdom who labelled themselves as people of the Heavens into a formidable
force to be reckoned with even till this day. The Zulu nation and its people owe lot to Shakathe
Great, he built a nation whose numbers were few than two thousands and who neither powerful
they were mere sheep. With the introduction of Shaka the Great, Dingiswayo vision of having a
united nation of all Ngnui speaking people was possible. However the growth of the Zulu nation
has to be attributed to Shaka militaryorganisation that incorporated regiments from defeated tribes
and in return those tribes pledged their support and loyalty to his ever growing empire and did not
suffer attacks provide they paid homage. This system was used by the Roman conquerors, however
with Shaka the Great the notation of bloodshed and tyrant, dictator, despoiler, destroyer, murderer,
savage, barbarian made famous by Hollywood and early white settlers and European historians
who had an ignorant view on Africaand could not possibly believe that a black man could match
up to leaders such as Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Attila the Hun, Napoleon and could have
a significant impact on our world we live in today.

Dan Graham Dissociative Identity Disorder
A fragmented mind creates alternate identities to cope with current situations, dissociating the
person s from a single identity and reality. This notion relates to split personalities as well as
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder. Many
controversies and myths follow DID because of uncertainties dealing with the cause, diagnostic
criteria, and treatment. Not to mention, this fascinating disorder inspires different media forms into
generating content using generalizations about this serious disorder. Another issue with DID is the
disagreements about the definition; for this article, DID is a condition where the brain fragments

However, as seen above, the passage from the article interrupts the flow of the reading, yet it
doesn t seem to interrupt the characters because the sentence continues on as if nothing happened.
Not only did it happen here, but it persists throughout the rest of the book, especially with the
scenes with the medical officers. Mainly, the interruptions reside from the article mentioned, but a
number of them are short sayings in German. With the article about the other side of the brain, it
presents a break within reality or consciousness. As a conversation happens, random words
distracted from what s going on. Although, the article s information connects to the topics of split
personalities presented in A Scanner Darkly. Overall, the passages describe how the hemispheres
exist with each other; the left one is dominant because that s the speaking hemisphere. The
information from the article ends up repeating itself through character s dialogue. With the parts
where the article is added, it seems as if it s a way to give the reader a feeling of split
personalities or voices in their head. By the fact, the article interrupts the reader s thinking, but then
the reader is expected to forget that the article was inserted from how quickly the novel continues
on. This relates to how Bob/Fred forgets events or doesn t understand why he knows how things are

Modeling Of Fractal Antenna Using Artificial Neural Network
1. Title: Modeling of fractal antenna using Artificial Neural Network.
2.Introduction: In high performance spacecraft, aircraft, missile and satellite applications, where
size, weight, cost, performance, ease of installation, and aerodynamic profile are constraints, low
profile antennas may be required. Presently, there are many other government and commercial
applications, such as mobile radio and wireless communications that have similar specifications. To
meet these requirements, micro strip antennas can be used [1,2].
The expensive growth of wireless system and booming demand for variety of new wireless
application,it is important to design an antenna whose size, shape, weight and cost will be less. If it
is possible that a single antenna can work on more than one frequency then it is good for us. So
generally fractal antenna is used as multiband antenna.
The fractal geometry concept can be used to reduce antenna size. So fractal shaped antennas are
good choice to reduce antenna size and get multiband behavior.
The fractal antenna can be classified on the basis of iteration as 0 iteration,1st iteration,2nd iteration
etc.
For fulfilling all the requirement introduced above fractal microstrip patch antennas are
designed. As the number of iteration increases the time consume for solving matrix generated in
simulator based on method of moment(IE3D) increases. Due to this reason we are designing an
artificial neural network for microstrip fractal antenna.

Carson Silent Spring Analysis
Carson s introduction to her Silent Spring portrays the utter destruction of the environment caused
by us humans disdain towards nature through our constant use of pesticides; therefore, she urges
her audience to recognize the significance of maintaining the health of our environment lest we
want to live in her bleak description of our future Earth. Carson opens up with the juxtaposition of
two worlds: one beautiful and untouched, and one deserted and barren. Her change in diction from
positive to malign illustrates the contrast, going from words like prosperous and beauty to blight,
death, and sickness. By showing the complete opposite sides of the spectrum, Carson exemplifies
how ruinous the use of pesticides is on the environment,

  • 3. Relationship Between Child Development And Early Child Care Abstract Over the past several years, researches have study the relationship between child development, early child care, and the importance of early children s experiences. Although researchers have found that most children in day care don t suffer from the experience, recent research suggest that child care hours is related with externalized behaviors. Child care has demonstrated to be a predictor in a child s academic success later in life. High quality child care predicts higher vocabulary scores and advanced cognitive outcomes, but also exposure to child care centers reported externalizing problems such a behavioral problems and conflicts. However, another research indicates that children exposed to non maternal child care become identical from their peers with little or no history of non maternal care from a social emotional perspective. In addition, a research shows that low quality care is related to poor performance; however, the amount of time children spend in non maternal care outside the home does not appear to be related to child development. Even though child care does not appear to be related with child development, researchers discuss the potential positive and negative long term effects in their behavior later in life in the following areas: academically, emotionally, and socially. Long Term Effects of Child Care The 20th century marks a period in which families increasingly relied on child care as more mothers of children work outside the home. ... • 4. 1960s Social Culture There has been many times in history where social culture has changed. In fact, social culture is always changing. In the early 1900s to the 1920s, many social changes came into play. The automobile became more and more accessible and convenient as roads were paved. Fashion had changed from layers upon layers and the idea of modesty for women to the bold, daring flapper girl and men wearing suits. After World War II, another social change; furthermore, one to remember occurred the baby boom. A new generation was born full of new ideas of fashion, diet, lifestyle, and taste in music. This is the generation that would soon become familiar with the famous quote of Timothy Leary, Tune out, turn on, and drop out. This is also the generation that completely disregarded their parent s traditional beliefs and became members of an era of intense individualism where eccentricity was popular. This eccentricity included the use of Marijuana and psychedelic drugs, vegetarianism diets, birth control, stand out fashion, and a new taste in music. Many of... Hermann Hesse was a German writer who expressed rebelliousness against traditional culture and a search for a spiritual meaning in his work. As they found interest in Hesse s words, the counterculture began to form. In addition, the Beat Generation, a group of American artists and writers, created artwork and literature alongside of Hesse s. Despite its name, the NBPP s founding was independent; it is not an official successor organization to the Black Panther Party. Members of the original Black Panther Party have insisted that this party is illegitimate and have vociferously objected that there is no new Black Panther Party. Critics characterize what they see as the NBPP s actively destructive extremism by pointing to examples such as Muhammad s Million Youth March , a youth equivalent of the Million Man March in Harlem in which 6000 people protested police brutality but also featured a range of speakers calling for the extermination of whites in South Africa. The rally ended in scuffles with the NYPD as Muhammad urged the crowd to attack those officers who had attempted to confiscate the NBPP members guns. Chairs and bottles were thrown at the police but only a few in the conflict suffered injuries. Perhaps more significantly was the fact that Al Sharpton appeared and spoke at this event, and was criticized later for taking part in its controversial rhetoric. The Million Youth March became an annual event thereafter, but rapidly lost popularity as time progressed. A Public Service Announcement (PSA) can help reduce the number of distracted driving accidents by explaining the horrible effects of distracted driving and the best ways to prevent distracted driving. A cell phone causes much distraction for the driver and may cause the driver to have a car crash that not only affects themselves, but also the surrounding people. Teenagers, children, and even adults will be able to be informed. Mandy looked up at her, naked and expectant. Her platinum blonde hair was down now and spread on the bed above her head. Rose liked how she looked, restrained and free at the same time. She wanted to savor this sight, simple and delicious. She loved finding different ways to bind and restrain Mandy. They used the bed frequently because it was easy. She planned to drive back to Wichita for the three days that Marcus would be visiting. She had family near there and the prospect of visiting with them was nice. Rose did not miss the coincidence. Mandy was from a small Illinois farm. Nancy was originally from Kansas. Rose questioned him over dinner, which Mandy served diligently before kneeling on the floor to wait for their invitation to join the table. Not everyone around me is a rural girl. Marcus gave his assent to Mandy to join them at the table after Rose indicated her own. Nicole is purely a city girl. That actually made things a little challenging for us. When she first entered my service, I was not quite what she expected a Dominant to be. Rose had a hard time seeing that. Marcus was everything she expected. As she educated herself as well, reading books, visiting websites, and participating in online groups as Marcus suggested, she had found that the way he treated his submissives and the way he carried himself was very much how a Dominant should behave. When I decided to take on Nichole, I was not the confident man you see before you. I thought I had to behave a certain way to transition from rural life to city life. • 10. My Challenging Week It has been customary for me to begin these entries with words of how interesting it has been, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. I have had a very challenging and interesting week. It started off with trivial car issues. My car broke down and I have been renting a car since last Saturday. Sunday the Men s Choir at the Church celebrated their 18th Anniversary. I was asked by one of the members if I could stay until the program. I had already planned to go home, take a nap, and then return, but when he asked I felt compelled to stay. I stayed at the Church form 9:00 7:00 pm. They had over 12 guest choirs to come and each choir sang two selections. I thoughtI would take advantage of this opportunity to mingle with the people and Mrs. Walls was one of the first I encountered. As she sat down next to me I could tell immediately by her star glasses and wrap on her head that she was flamboyant outwardly as well as inwardly. I told her I liked her glasses and how unique they were and she responded, I know, if anyone else wore these they would look stupid. They only look good on me. I smiled trying to contain my laughter. She then went on to talk and throughout the course of the conversation, I heard many words of anger, frustration, and hurt projected towards the members of the church. I looked at this as the perfect opportunity inject myself as preacher/teacher. Taking from Willimon; you have to set the message of a gospel of love. (205) extracting from ... • 11. Reflections on Old Age with Billy Graham Essay An important sector of society is older adults and their various contributions to future generations. Billy Graham s book Nearing Home: Life, Faith and Finishing Well sheds light on the various attributes of growing old and about life in general. An important idea he expresses is the influence older adults have on society as well as their ability to leave a spiritual legacy which is far more important than material inheritances. I also believe that older adults are essential to society and that Graham s opinions are in tune with society and are useful to readers of all ages. Graham also discusses two major themes of adult development: retirementand primary aging. His book can be used to help professionals working with older adults in a... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He notes, peer pressure has always been around and that the older generation should be looking for ways to encourage the younger because they are constantly bombarded with wrong teaching, poor examples and pressure tactics (Graham, 2011, p. 115). Influencing the younger generations is important but Graham emphasizes that the older generation needs to stay true to themselves and to their faith, that in the end their authenticity will open the door to impacting younger generations. Billy Graham (2011) considers this a privilege for the older generation and shows that the Bible teaches older generations to pass on their knowledge to those who are younger (pp.116 117). Lastly, he calls those in older and late adulthood to be all that God has called them to be and remember even their attitudes and the way they chose to live out their later years makes an impression on the younger generation. Leaving a legacy is another significant idea in Billy Graham s book (Graham, 2011, 118). It highlights the importance of a life well lived as well as its impact. He discusses that although the intensity and times of influence on one s children and grandchildren diminishes with age that is not a reason to stop, because the older generation still has an impact. He writes, ...the greatest legacy you can pass on to your children and grandchildren is not your money or other material things...The greatest legacy you can pass on to them is your character and ... My learnings began as soon as I boarded the plane for my non stop flight to Munich on the German based Lufthansa airlines. I have seen this to be true in the amount of United States companies that have tried to relocate their headquarters to European countries to enjoy the corporate tax advantages. • 13. The Foundation Of The Roman Culture Essay Nathaniel Spina HIST 103 T/R 3:50 5:15 History Question #2 Question 1 The foundation of the Roman culture had a strong Etruscan influence due to their taking control of Rome circa 650 BC. The Etruscans transformed Rome into an actual, functioning city through urban planning and civil engineering projects. Although the Etruscans were hostile in their take over, the Romans would not have accomplished what they did alone. It was not until circa 500 BC that Rome successfully shook off Etruscan rule. Once they were free, the Romans established a republic, a form of government also to be used by many countries later. Rome set up a constitution consisting of a senate, consuls and tribunes. The Roman senate became the most powerful governing body. Rather than advising the head of state, it elected the chief executives, called consuls. Consuls were ordinary magistrates that had the authority to command a military force. Tribune was a title given to various officers within the Roman army. Rome waged war on its neighboring cities. In order to defend themselves against the Etruscan cities, the cities of Latium allied to defend each other in an alliance called the Latin League. Eventually, the Romans were able to conquer their most dangerous early rival, the city of Veii. However, they were setback soon after when the Gauls sacked Rome. After the sack, the Romans recovered and continued their conquests with a bigger, better army. Rome and the Latin League next waged war against the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Their is a symbol that I recognized throughout the movie, Gatsby s Mansion it symbolizes two broader themes of the novel. First, it represents the grandness and emptiness of the 1920s boom: Gatsby justifies living in it all alone by filling the house weekly with celebrated people. Second, the house is the physical symbol of Gatsby s love for Daisy. Gatsby used his new money to create a place that he thought rivaled the houses of the old money that had taken her away. Gatsby throws these big parties to get money so that he can spend it on other things like Daisy for an example. West Egg is where a lot of wealthy people live. It is a very nice place there are nice shops and restaurants. Gatsby states a quote about his wealthiness. Old money, new money, no money. He is describing that anybody that has money should use it wisely. Their is a man named Nick, he is a resident at West egg and lives almost next to Gatsby s house and they like to talk and spend time together. Nick had a cousin named Daisy Buchanan. She is married to Tom Buchanan. However, she is having an affair with Gatsby. Not to mention Tom already knows that Daisy and Gatsby are together and having an affair with one another. ... Newspaper Article Assignment Julius Caesar March 16th, 44 B.C.E Roman Republic Times Conspirators kill mighty Caeser Yesterday around noon, Rome witnessed the fall of a mighty leader named Julius Caesar. The conspirators involved in this murder were witnessed by the names of Cassius, Casca, Cinna, Trebonius, Ligarius, Decius Brutus, Metellus Cimber and Brutus. It was supposed to be an ordinary gathering like any other at the Capitol on March 15th, 44 B.C.E, but things ended up turning out very differently from what was normally expected. This has turned out to be the most tragic moment in my life and I hope those conspirators kneel to the gods, for they have upset the heavens with the killing of the mightiest leader Rome has ever seen. It wasn t just Calpurnia that was upset, Mark Antony, a good friend of Caesar, was completely depressed and raging with anger at the same time. Those worthless blocks of stones, how could their hearts be so dark to inflict pain on one of the most generous and good hearted people of Rome, Mark Antony explains with tears in his eyes. They shall suffer great consequences in the near future and only time will tell when their journey will also come to an end. Some Romans on the other hand believed Caesar s death was a gift from the gods and portrayed a sign of peace in Rome. He deserved his death, he was becoming too conceited, Cassius, a main conspirator in the murder, explains as he was walking on the streets yesterday evening. On earth, the law of gravity pulls objects down from great heights to great depths in a matter of minutes or seconds. Depending on the purpose and where you are, it takes an awareness of the laws like gravity to use that law correctly and fulfill your purpose in space or on earth. Likewise, style is a law of writing as gravity is a law. Like the law of gravity, we have to be aware of the laws of style. Gravity exists whether we like it or not. Style also exists whether we want it to or not. If you ignore the laws of gravity, you will either crash to your death, or be left floating in space. With style, a writer will either carry the reader to the intended destination, or leave the reader floating like a man lost in space, without any understanding on what your point was. Understanding what it means to be free and determining whether Canada is indeed a free country we can compare Brian Tamanaha s four themes of liberty from On the Rule of Law to see if Canada shares similarities with that of what Tamanaha speaks of. In On the Rule of Law Tamanaha refers to the four themes of liberty, being political liberty, legal liberty, personal liberty, and institutionalized perversion of liberty, which he notes as characteristics of beneficial sacrifices that we give up as free individuals for personal security and social order. Living under laws can limit the full extent of freedom that we may have as people, but it can also be noted, that with no laws we are potentially a danger to ourselves and others. In modern society, primarily democratic societies, having no laws is simply not a reality so when we do give up our freedom, this exchange for stability must be beneficial to us and not an agreement to live under state oppression. Observing the way Canada is formed and while we are not entirely free living under Canadian laws, however, due to the country s incentives taken to ensure that our basic liberties are secured it be seen that citizens indeed benefit from the sacrifices they make limiting their freedom, yet still being free to a certain degree. 1 Analyzing Tamanaha s four themes of liberty the first theme he mentions is political liberty which can be defined as self rule being essentially the ability to be ourselves the ... Macon Dead III, nicknamed Milkman, is a symbolic character throughout the novel. Not only is he as a character symbolic, but his name is as well. Milkman s aunt, Pilate, has a significant and symbolic role in the novel. To her father, she represents the child who killed her own mother and took away his wife. In the Bible, Pontius Pilate is the Roman who is responsible for the execution of Jesus. With that information, one can say that the name Pilate seems to coincide with her father, Macon Dead s, opinion on what Pilate represents. What s ironic is that Pilate is a good person and is murdered in the end, just as Jesus was by Pontius Pilate. Guitar, Milkman s best friend, is another significant character in the novel who portrays deep symbolism. Guitar is named after something that he wanted very badly as a child. Twelfth Night is referring to the twelfth night after Christmas, Epiphany. Today, the Twelfth Night after Christmas means the day we take down the decorations, but back in 1600 when the play was written it had a different meaning. Epiphany was a time for celebrating and partying. People used to have parties on Twelfth Night and it was traditional to play practical jokes at this time. These included tricks such as hiding live birds in an empty pie case, so that they flew away when the startled guests cut open the crusts. It was a mad time full of pranks and confusion, just as in the play. This name, Twelfth Night , therefore seems appropriate for this play due to all the confusion and the banter that goes on in the confusing storyline. In Twelfth Night we see different types of humour. There is the word play, the vulgar humour of Sir Toby, stupidity of Sir Andrew, Malvolio s foolishness , and the general confusion caused by Viola s disguise. Shakespeare used dirty and witty humour in most of his plays but it is perhaps most obvious in Twelfth Night. He used different types of humour to please all of the people who flocked to see his plays. There was always an array of people, and they all needed to be kept interested. In Halo, players fight multiple alien races as the legendary Spartan II, a genetically enhanced super soldier, named John S117. Recently, the creators of Halo released a new game called Destiny; in the game, guardians fight off multiple alien races in an attempt to destroy an ancient evil known as the Darkness. Many gamers claim that Halo and Destiny are very different, however, a true Halo fan can identify the similarities between the two games. Though the two games have small differences, Halo and Destiny are the same in many ways; the weapons, the enemies fought, and the AI companion system. When a Halo fan picks up his first weapon in Destiny, whether it be a scout rifle or an auto rifle, he should instantly be able to acknowledge the similarity in mechanics. In Halo the weapon mechanics are simple, a player can pick up anything that he can find. • 41. Monet Vs CГ©zanne Emotional Artists Throughout history, artists have used a variety of ways to convey their emotions. For many, art can be an outlet, allowing them to express to the public a mental state in a certain period of time. Emotions can greatly influence the products of our creation, and in turn, transferred onto the audience. They can bring sadness to what could otherwise be a pleasant scene, such as a peaceful forest, in Paul CГ©zanne s Rocks in the Forest. On the opposite spectrum, emotions can reveal how beautiful nature really is like in Claude Monet s The Artist s Garden at Giverny. These two artists were founding fathers of the impressionist period which was when the world of art changed drastically. Artists started to paint with more colors and relied heavily on natural light. Monet is known for his use of strong colors, while CГ©zanne was of the first to mold impressionism into cubism. Depending on your use there are typically more than 1 way to extract data. My personal preference is to use Python, which is a scripting programming language. It is very strong, and it is used heavily in the analytic world. There is a Python distribution called Anaconda that already has a lot of tools and packages included that you will want for Data Analytics. Once you ve installed Anaconda, you ll need to download an IDE (integrated developer environment), which is separate from Anaconda itself, but is what interfaces with the programs itself and allows you to code. I recommend PyCharm. Once you ve downloaded all of the things necessary to extract data, you re going to have to actually extract it. Ultimately, you have to know what you re looking for in order to be able to search it and figure it out. In March 1584, Queen Elizabeth granted Sir Walter Raleigh a charter for the colonization of the area of North America. This charter said that Raleigh needed to create a colony in North America, or lose his right to colonization. In April 1584, Raleigh dispatched an expedition led by Philip Amadas and Arthur Barlowe to explore the Eastern coast of North America. They were ordered to travel to Roanoke first to gather Grenville s men, but when they arrived in July 1587, they found nothing except a skeleton that may have been the remains of one of the English garrison. They were counting on these men to help with the new colony, but when they could find no one, they gave up hope of ever seeing Grenville s men alive. The fleet s commander, Simon Fernandez, insisted that they establish the new colony on Roanoke. White re established relations with the Croatans and tried to establish friendly relations with the tribes Ralph Lane had battled the previous year. The hostile tribes refused to meet with him. Shortly thereafter, colonist George Howe was killed by an Indian while searching alone for crabs in Albemarle Sound. Fearing for their lives, the colonists persuaded Governor White to return to England to explain the colony s desperate situation and ask for help. The Ways Of Non Point Source Pollution During The Great Lakes The way of Non point source pollution in the Great Lakes Atmospheric precipitation Many contaminants settle out of the atmosphere, such as acid rain, the pollutants and nutrients will transport from distant places by air depositing into the lake as the form of rain. The first pollutants as atmospheric deposition on the Great Lakes were phosphorus. It is found that about 20 percent phosphorus entering Lake Michigan comes from the atmosphere by determination of rain, snow and dust. Since phosphorus pollution generated by this approach cannot be controlled, so it is more urgent to reduce the phosphorus content of detergent, sewer and effluent fertilizers. People found fish in a lake of Lake Superior in a remote island containing PCBs and toxaphene, and this place isolated with no direct way to pollution. This determines the long range transport of pollutants through the atmosphere and settlement in the lake. In fact the processes of material transport through atmospheric was very complex. For instance PCBs was insoluble in water, so as to re enter the atmosphere during evaporation or connected together into small particles. A lot of PCBs volatilize from the lake, meanwhile, PCBs coming from various parts of the air mass experience the sedimentation on the lake. Other than that the contaminated sediment is another way to cause pollution of the lake. This is problems of the most urban industrial areas. Even if there is likely to remove severely contaminated sediments in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 53. Modeling Of Fractal Antenna Using Artificial Neural Network 1. Title: Modeling of fractal antenna using Artificial Neural Network. 2.Introduction: In high performance spacecraft, aircraft, missile and satellite applications, where size, weight, cost, performance, ease of installation, and aerodynamic profile are constraints, low profile antennas may be required. Presently, there are many other government and commercial applications, such as mobile radio and wireless communications that have similar specifications. To meet these requirements, micro strip antennas can be used [1,2]. The expensive growth of wireless system and booming demand for variety of new wireless application,it is important to design an antenna whose size, shape, weight and cost will be less. If it is possible that a single antenna can work on more than one frequency then it is good for us. So generally fractal antenna is used as multiband antenna. The fractal geometry concept can be used to reduce antenna size. So fractal shaped antennas are good choice to reduce antenna size and get multiband behavior. The fractal antenna can be classified on the basis of iteration as 0 iteration,1st iteration,2nd iteration etc. For fulfilling all the requirement introduced above fractal microstrip patch antennas are designed. As the number of iteration increases the time consume for solving matrix generated in simulator based on method of moment(IE3D) increases. Due to this reason we are designing an artificial neural network for microstrip fractal antenna. 2.1 Fractal ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
