Bartolomeo Vanzetti Case Analysis
Many aspects shaped the 1920s, and that includes the trial of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti.
The two were tried for killing a paymaster and his bodyguard. They were charged with murder and
faced the death penalty. Many people protested to their sentence. Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo
Vanzetti s court sentence sparked a large debate through the nation back then that carries out today as
to whether it was justifiable or not. Nicola Sacco worked a steady job at a shoe factory in Stoughton.
He took a day off of work on April 15th. Bartolomeo Vanzetti was a self employed fish peddler in
Plymouth and was unable to provide a valid alabi (Frankfurter). The two men were Italian anarchists
who believed the government needed to be destroyed in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, witnesses confirmed that the defendants were elsewhere at the time of the murder.
Frankfurter had stated, Other witnesses supported Sacco s testimony that on April 15 the day he was
away from work he was in Boston seeing a passport to Italy, whither he was planning shortly to return
to visit his recently bereaved father. An Italian consulate official supported the statement, reassuring
that Sacco had in fact visited his consulate at a time that makes Sacco s relations with the Braintree
crime impossible. Furthermore, witnesses confirmed that Vanzetti was selling fish on April 15 and
could not have been involved in the murder

The Discovery Of Apollo 11
Since ancient times, men have gazed upon the cosmic ocean above our heads wondering what could
be out there. In the last 2 centuries human kind has made a huge leap in technology and science, from
horse drawn carriages to spaceships capable to send us into space. What used to be considered science
fiction now is considered science fact. In 1969, Apollo 11 was the first manned mission to land on the
moon, opening the path towards the stars. One problem that we encounter is distance. The closest star
to Earth, beside the Sun, is Alpha Centauri B, being situated at 4.24 light years away. This means if we
were traveling at the speed of light, we would need 4 years to get to the star, but the fastest man made
object is the Voyager 1, a space probe launched by NASA in 1977, reaching the speed of 17 kilometers
per second (compared to 300,000 kilometers per second, the speed of light). This means it will take
over 74,000 years to reach Alpha Centauri B. In order to reach stars in a more effective way, we need
to reach higher speeds.
According to Einstein s theory of relativity nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. This is
because the mass of an object that is moving with the speed of light is becoming infinite, requiring
infinite energy to propel it, which is obviously impossible. Even at 80% of the speed of light, mass is
becoming a big problem.
One day, in Earth s distant future, there will be a Last day of the Earth scenario. Eventually, the sun
will become a

Kurt Cobain And Morrison Research Paper
Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison Despite being almost twenty years in between the time of their fame
Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison are more often than not compared to each other. They had fame,
fortune and depression. Both were considered to be poets instead of just musicians. Cobain and
Morrison has a lot going for them musically. Kurt was not only the lead of a phenomenal band but a
guitarist, song writer and an icon to the masses. Morrison was a writer, film maker and icon as well.
Not including all the talent they had going for them, the main thing they had in common was
depression. It is true that it does not discriminate. With a lot of fame and fans comes a lot of pressure,
too. Both artists agreed that their trying times started when they

My First Day At Central High School
Reflections on My First Day at Central High School
When I woke up this morning, I was extremely nervous. Among my close friends and family, I
am known for my uncanny ability to get lost just about everywhere. So you could imagine how
terrified I
was that I would become extremely lost. My younger brother goes to a private school that is pretty far
away from where Central is located. So my parents decided to wake us all up around 5:30 AM and
leave
the house around 6. They dropped me off at school around 7 AM. At first I was a bit annoyed because
I
thought that no other students would be at Central at that time. In retrospect, getting to school around
7
was not the worst event that happened to me. That happened a few hours later. I was able to talk to a
couple of other freshmen who had suffered the same fate as I did.
After maybe an hour of sitting around in the auditorium, the school day finally began for the
freshmen. Our orientation leaders had to get to their own classes so the kids of 410 were left find our
own
way to our advisory. Whilst I was inside of the auditorium, I had become friendly with a girl named
Candy from the same advisory. We walked to our advisory together and were lucky to get seats next to
each other. When the advisory class ended, we walked towards our Algebra 1 Honors class together.
My World History class was the next class of my day. Fortunately, I was able to secure a seat in
the front row. Even though I have

Evolution Of Physical Discipline In The United States
Ninety five percent of all toddlers in the United States have been physically disciplined at some point
in their short lives (Magnuson, Waldfogel, 2005). There exists a conflicting message from our country
s systems around how we protect and rear our children. Physical forms of discipline including, hitting
or slapping, spanking, hitting with an object, or other forms of physical contact [for behavior
modification] (Magnuson, Waldfogel, 2005, p. 178), are not allowed in non parental settings such as
daycare, schools, and children s programming and yet the majority of our country s parents have at
some point or are currently spanking their children in the homes. Numerous studies have been
conducted linking the use of physical discipline ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Forehand and McKinney (1993) believe that US families are still floating around in this ocean of
uncertainty around discipline today. Looking at this evolution more in depth, parents relied heavily on
religion to guide their attitudes and discipline behaviors in the 1700 s. As God fearing Puritans, it was
paramount that children honored and obeyed their parents so as not to face the wrath of god and be
sent to Hell. In defense of their children s mortal souls, parents and communities utilized severe forms
of physical discipline to modify behavior and punish children. The beatings were often done in the
center of town for all to see and children were forced to divulge their negative behaviors and be
publicly shamed. As many of the church s teachings were geared toward obedience, this kind of
extreme physical punishment was not only accepted but expected. Physical discipline was mainly
carried out by the father of the household (Forehand, McKinney, 1993). People are creatures of their
environment. Children were seen as inherently evil and full of sin and so there were no agencies set up
to study the development of children or advocate for their rights. The beatings and public humiliation
were seen as an act of love and spiritual protection on the part of the parents. Perhaps the model of
separating church and state played a role in the dividing of the cultures and increase in child

Human Ecology Theory And Community Theory
Community Theory
In the Macro level of social work, communities are the primary settings for human behavior.
Communities are clusters of people who have something in common. A major social work perspective
views communities as entities where citizens can organize or be organized in order to address mutual
concerns and improve their over all quality of life. Throughout this paper I will discuss four
conceptual perspectives of communities. I will cover the following, Human Ecology, Socio
Psychological, Structural, and Functionalist.
These perspectives are important for a social worker to understand in order to create change for the
individuals in a community. In the process of explaining each perspective I will also discuss the key
concepts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These characteristics are usually race, ethnicity, religion, social pressure, or personal choice.
These Ecological concepts demographics, competition, segregation and integration can help social
workers analyze a community in terms of its fairness and support to all of its members. One of the
strengths gathered from this perspective is that it allows for the issues to be identified and it
implements change as needed. The Human Ecology perspective can help frame subsequent questions
like how to change the situation. It has concern for the individuals within the community but its main
focus is on the environment. With the focus on the environment it will be better to determine why
people behave the way they do. One of the concepts of this perspective is also one of tis strengths and
that is when integration occurs. Members will come together and function as a whole. However, this
theory does have its weaknesses. For one when the demographics mentioned are becoming unlivable
members will compete and segregate themselves. This causes the community to always be in chaos.
Viewing communities from a Human Ecology perspective it provides a useful assessment mechanism
for understanding why people act as they do within the context of the larger community macro system.
Social Psychological Theory
This theory is defined on how members within a community feel about themselves as well as their
behavior

A Brief Look at World War II
World War II World War II was the largest war and the bloodiest war that the U.S. has ever been
involved in. Forty to Fifty million people lost their lives during World War II. This was a war that
lasted for about six years and involved countries from around the whole world. The axis powers in the
war consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan. The Allie powers consisted of the United States, France,
Great Britain, the Soviet Union, and to a lesser extent, China. It is said that unsettled disputes from the
first world war, World War I, is what was the main cause of WWII. Japan trained men for the war
starting at the age of nine years old. It is said that of all the Soviet men that were born in the year
1923, only twenty percent survived the war. This means eighty percent of all males died in the war.
That s from one country, imagine how many innocent lives were taken during the war. All because of
one man, Adolf Hitler. The war stemmed off in early 1939 when German dictator Adolf Hitler had
intentions of invading Poland. Poland knew about this, so they went to France and Britain for an
alliance should Germany invade them. When Germany heard about this, they decided it would be
good to take out the Soviets because they didn t know if they would fight on Poland s side or not. On
August 23, 1939, Germany and the Soviets signed the German Soviet Nonaggression pact. This stated
that once Poland was taken over, the country would be divided evenly between the two power
countries.

Nursing Ethical Dilemmas
Ethical and legal dilemmas are issues that nurses face in their professional careers. Nurses are
accountable for safe and appropriate administration of medication. With the growth in malpractice
lawsuits it is important that nurses take certain precautions to limit the risk of lawsuits. Nurses can
limit the risk of liability through maintaining open communication with patients, expertise in practice,
attention to details, and autonomy. (Burkhart Nathanial, 2013).

Solar System Formation
Ideas concerning the origin and fate of the world date from the earliest known writings. However, for
all that time, there was no attempt to link such theories to the existence of a Solar System , simply
because no one knew or believed that the Solar System, in the sense we now understand it, existed.
The first step towards a theory of Solar System formation was the general acceptance of
heliocentrism, the model which placed the Sun at the center of the system and the Earth in orbit
around it. This conception had been gestating for thousands of years but was only widely accepted by
the end of the 17th century. The first recorded use of the term Solar System dates from 1704.
The formation and evolution of the Solar System began 4.6 billion years ago with the gravitational
collapse of a small part of a giant molecular cloud. Most of the collapsing mass collected in the center,
forming the Sun, while the rest flattened into a protoplanetary disk out of which the planets, moons,
asteroids, and other small Solar System bodies formed.
This model, known as the nebular hypothesis, was first developed in the 18th century by Emanuel
Swedenborg, Immanuel Kant, and Pierre Simon Laplace. Its next development has interwoven a
variety of scientific disciplines including astronomy, physics, geology, and planetary science. Since
the dawn of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many moons have formed from circling discs of gas and dust around their parent planets, while other
moons are thought to have formed independently and later been captured by their planets. Still others,
such as Earth s Moon, may be the result of giant collisions. Collisions between bodies have occurred
continually up to the present day and have been central to the evolution of the Solar System. The
positions of the planets often shifted due to gravitational interactions. This planetary migration is now
thought to have been responsible for much of the Solar System s early

The Big Role Of The Nine Muses In Greek Mythology
The Muses in many ways played a big role in Greek Mythology. There were nine Muses, who were all
sisters. In addition to their beauty, they are very powerful and competitive. The Muses the gods of
music, songs, dance, and an inspiration to poets all around the world. Each of the nine Muses were
given their own special gifts.
The Muses were the daughters of extremely powerful gods. The Muses father was Zeus, who is the
king of gods. The mother of the nine Muses was Mnemosyne, who is the goddess of memory. The
Muses were all born at the same place in Ancient Greece. They were born at the foot of Mount

Analysis Of The Story Every Little Storm
Every Little Hurricane Literary Analysis Sadly, Every Little Hurricane is not truly about real life
hurricanes. It is actually a forty year old native Indian short story. Every Little Hurricane is a
representation for symbolism through the life of the native Indian family and community. The main
character, Victor, is faced with the hurricane of life that is upon him. He sees this all around himself
and in his dreams and past. The hurricane is struggle, greed, anger, satire, and retribution. The short
story is a love/hate relationship with Victor s family; as well as, the typical struggle for the everyday
Indian life. 1976, forty years into the past on a cold New Year s Eve at young Victor s house in
Spokane Indian Reservation. The main character, and protagonist, Victor is the lone child at a party of
adults who are getting drunk at his home. There so, the hurricane begins. The parents of Victor are not
solely involved in the story, but the main attraction was the uncles who fought one another, Adolph
and Arnold. Those these two do not serve as antagonists, they create the swirling fronts that ignite the
hurricane that night for Victor. It was the Indian life that serves as the antagonist. The life of an Indian
was never easy and it shows its self in many ways. A drunken New Year s Eve party, what a blast
latterly in the past! Yet, the action rises at this exposition with all the drinking and smoking occurring.

The Start of My Love for Wrestling
I believe wrestling is one of the hardest sports around the world. There are only a few who stick
around throughout the season because they are willing to endure the pain. I had difficulties deciding
which sport to play, and I chose the one that called out to me the most. I had difficulties throughout the
season at first, and then I loved wrestling even more after it ended.
Ever since I was little and saw WWE RAW, a wrestling TV show, for the first time, I enjoyed
watching wrestling on TV. I would always jump up throwing my arms in the air when my favorite
wrestler was winning. I would invite some of my friends over on Saturdays to mimic the wrestling
moves that the wrestlers were doing from the TV on a trampoline in my backyard during the afternoon
because it looked awesome and it was very fun. The wrestling TV show inspired me to join wrestling
in High School. During my freshmen year in Oroville High School the winter sports basketball and
wrestling were about to start. I kept asking myself Agh, why do both of the sports I want to play have
to be at the same time? After the second week of school passed by since the fall sports started, some of
my friends in basketball kept telling me, You should play basketball because you got a fine arm.
I replied, I would have to think about it a bit more. Later on in the school day when I was in weight
training class the teacher, Coach Rice, who was also the wrestling coach called me over to talk

Rural Urban Migration Is An Inevitable Component Of The...
The phenomenon of rapid urbanization in less developed countries and in the absence of extensive
industrialization, led to the emergence of illegal settlements and shanty towns, discuss the relationship
between urbanization, poverty and development; and use a case study to illustrate the effects of rapid
urbanization in LDC s.
Rural urban migration occurs at varying rates in every country. This paper focuses on the process of
rural urban migration and its influence on urbanization in developing countries. It presents arguments
in support of the proposal that rural urban migration is an inevitable component of the development
process, and does not necessarily have to result in opposing impacts with the right mix of policies, this
process can occur at a socially acceptable level. However, the misrepresentation of opportunities in
favor of cities in most developing countries, the costs associated with rural urban migration often
outweigh the benefits, which lead to excessive urbanization with special emphasis on the causes and
consequences of rural urban migration, and their relationship with urbanization and economic growth.
Keeping into consideration the fact that rural urban migration is an integral part of the development
process. Also the paper will give a brief historical background about the rapid urbanization change in
developing countries over time and will be applying a case study of a country to illustrate this change.

Political Allegory In Alice In Wonderland
One historical approach to Carroll s Alice in Wonderland invites the reader to observe the trends,
culture as well as the philosophy of the Victorian Era for a personalized interpretation of Alice s
encounters in Wonderland. Usage of the Historical approach may seem demoralizing in sheer scope; it
is quite imperative to understand that the novel was written during a specific time period that, in itself,
contained unique habits and concerns. Within the following pages, the connections with the Victorian
era in terms of the middle class upbringing of children, notions of order, reasoning, logic and politesse
will be further understood. Political allegory, a powerful theme that reflects brilliantly in the real life
to England; the Wonderland, the symbolic England, The novel can be first identified as the direct
opposite with characters that jigsaw into the real life. Wonderland was ruled unjustly by the Queen of
Hearts, who, correspondingly was Queen Victoria. There were pieces of evidence that Carroll was not
overly timid by the Queen. The aristocracy of violence that was assigned to Wonderland (the Queen
and the Duchess) as well as the ludicrous mangling of justice in the trial ( Sentence first, then verdict ;
the British system indeed at that time in shambles.) are often used as the evidence that Alice belonged
to perhaps the genre of political satire more than Carroll had realized. Another political approach is to
treat Alice as an allegory for colonization. During the

The s Defense Of Icons
In Defense of Icons
Throughout history The Church and a number of Christians including myself have found themselves
defending their use of icons against the views of individuals who felt that the icons were a form of
idolatry. These individuals also know as Iconoclasts have a staunch position against the use of icons.
Their position is based on interpretation of the Old Testament law stated in Exodus 20:4 You must not
make for yourself an idol of any kind or an image of anything in the heavens or on the earth or in the
sea . Is this truly contrary to the Old Testament law or is it simply preserving through time the
incarnation of Christ, the Gospels and the history of the Christian church? I will give you a brief
history, and then offer my personal opinion to the subject. Let s define what is an icon and give a brief
history of icons. An icon is sacred art, usually a fresco or mosaic of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary,
martyred Saints or scenes from the bible that are given special veneration. This type of sacred art first
appeared in the catacombs were the first Christians would gather to worship during periods of
persecution. The scenes depicted were of Christ s family, gospel stories or stories from the Hebrew
scriptures. As Christianity began to grow, and after the Edict of Milan the Emperor Constantine

Analysis Of The Poem Miss Dawn
The Infinilights
Rosabelle Dawn was distracted and getting on her teacher s nerves. Rosabelle s eyes were darting
around the room following a little light that nobody else could see. The teacher, Mrs. Kay, decided to
take care of it, Rosabelle, What is the 5th root of 32?
Rosebelle was terrified, she had absolutely no idea. 2?
2? Or 2. Mrs. Kay said as she looked straight into Rosabelle s eyes you need to know these things
Rosabell.
Rosabelle felt that this was about more than math. Lately Mrs. Kay has been asking her to stand firm ,
whatever that means. I would like to be called Rosie and I know the answer is two. Rosie said solidly
even though she was not completely sure with what she was saying. ... Show more content on

When she finished a gold infinity sign materialized on her hand. She started to peal the gold off and
ate the chocolate. Bonnie lit up for a short time.
That s so cool! Rosabelle said.
Oh, you haven t seen anything yet! Bonnie remarked. Rosie was getting more and more excited.
Watch this! Bonnie snapped her fingers so that her pointer finger glowed. She drew an infinity sign in
the air that materialized into a bendy wire. She grabbed the ends of it and bent them together that
formed a sort of wings. The infinilight pinched the little x in the middle and strategically placed them
on her back and started... Flying!? To finish it off... Bonnie returned to the ground and traced another
infinity sign on her entire body. She lifted the transparent sign off her and moved her hands as if she
was zooming in on a touch screen. As the infinity sign shrunk she did too!
Rosabell Penny Dawn could not believe her enormous eyes. That s Impossible!
No it s not. Bonnie repeated the process to get back to normal size. She softly pinched Rosie. See it s
all real, Rosie.
Now I have a HUGE question for you Bonnie said with a suspicious grin.
What!? out of all the surprises today Rosie never could have expected what Bonnie asked her.

Bonnie took an exaggerated deep breath, Do you want to be an infinilight?

Theme Of Midaq Alley
Midaq Alley by Naguib Mahfouz is a story of love, ambition, hope, and their corruptions. Through
each member of the alley each of these ideas are explored, and a truth is revealed about the meanings
of these emotions and how they impact the way humans interact with one another. The stories of
Midaq Alley are each individual, but they come together to weave a bigger picture, a reflection on
both Western and Traditional Egyptian and Arab culture. Through the character of Hamida, a foster
daughter, the role of women and the ideas of power and corruption are all explored. The pimp,
Ibrahim Faraj, is the only man of her who is able to dominate her because he is the only male who did
not offer control and wealth in the form of marriage, enabling ... Show more content on

who is out of the alley, as her deepest desire is to leave. A foreigner , his mystery and her curiosity
lead Hamida into situations that she cannot predict the outcome of, weakening her as a female

Although the source is admittedly different, these levels are very much higher than those found in
outdoor urban background sites in the UK (around 15 g/m3).
Both epidemiological and experimental studies have shown that indoor air pollution has serious
consequences for health, especially in women and children.
Conditions such as acute lower respiratory infection, particularly pneumonia in children, chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer and cataract are the major illnesses associated
with or caused by indoor air pollution (World Health Organization,
2002). Exposure to smoke from solid fuel increases the risk of COPD by approximately threefold in
adults, and the risk is much higher in women who do the cooking (Kurmi et al, 2010). Worldwide,
indoor air pollution accounts for 2 million deaths annually
(United Nations Development Programme, 2009) and
2.7% of the loss of disability adjusted life years (DALYs;
World Health Organization, 2002). In developing countries, 44% of these deaths occur in children, and
60% of the adult deaths occur in women (United
Nations Development Programme, 2009).
Apart from the local health effects, the burning of solid fuels can also have a much wider impact on
the environment. Although

Analysis of Live Performances
This paper will concentrate on the analysis and the review of three major performances, Missa
Mirabilis, Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op.43 and Dona Nobis Pacem. These pieces of
performances are generally based on a religious setting of the several regions that the very detailed
and are represented in a very organized way. To begin, Missa Mirabilis is a piece that was celebrated
at the Westminster Cathedral for the feast of Corpus Christi on the 10th of June, 2007. This gave a
new setting of the Mass by world renowned pianist, Stephen Hough. He named the piece Missa
Mirabilis that is translated to Miracle Mass in English. While writing this script, he was involved in a
car crash while driving at about 80 mph, but the script and Hough survived the crash. The work is
bound by melodic lines with some choral structure that gives the piece a form of inner strength plus
some unique harmonic cushion. The piece was well organized to give it some comfortable assurance.
The speed that was employed in the piece was very moderate and was well handled by the chorus of
singers who sounded buoyant and fresh at all times, even to the very last stage of the performance.
The arranged movement that was used in the piece provided the contrast between different levels of
vocals in a very intimate manner and way. This was very instrumental in providing the path that paved
way for the difference between innocence and experience by the two different groups of performers. It
gave a clear

Contrast to Show Understanding in Sherman Alexie s Class ...
The short story Class by Sherman Alexie tells of the struggles of an American Indian man and tries to
demonstrate how he reacts to his contrasted feelings and diverse world around him. The central theme
of Alexie s short story is contrast, and this theme is evident throughout the story, even in the smallest
of details. The actions, emotions and even the language of the characters contrast and these contrasts
clearly illustrate the difference the characters have in class.
Marriage, the central part of the lives of the main characters, is viewed in opposing ways through their
actions. Susan s, Edgar s wife, description of what Edgar s love did for her involves the contrasting

For example, he frequently tells women that he is part Aztec because: Strangely enough, there were
aphrodisiacal benefits to claiming to be descended from ritual cannibals. In any event, pretending to
be an Aztec warrior was a lot more impressive than revealing I was just some bright kid who d fought
his way off the Spokane Indian Reservation (587). Even when he is claiming his roots, he is secretly
ashamed of them. Despite his mixed feelings about being Indian, Edgar tries to perpetuate a positive
image of the modern American Indian man. He wears his hair in long, black braids as a symbol of his
heritage, and tells people that his name is Edgar Eagle Runner, instead of Edgar Joseph like his license
says. Edgar also refrains from drinking massive amounts of alcohol because he does not want to
maintain and confirm any of my ethnic stereotypes, let alone the most prevalent one (591).
However, after realizing that his wife has been faking her orgasms for at least a year, Edgar abruptly
leaves his marriage bed and goes to a local Indian bar to have a drink. It is at this bar that the contrast
in class is made, as the title of the story suggests.
Edgar chooses to go to an Indian owned bar Chuck s to have his drink. As he sits at the bar and orders

Software And Application Lifecycle Management
Software is the base necessity in a system as it acts as a guide between the user and the system.
Programmers design different kinds of software by writing a complete set of written instructions that
enables the system to obtain the request instructed by the user. However, with the increase of
technological improvements, businesses are now looking at software development organizations to
design cost effective, high quality, and adaptive applications to meet business objectives. Software
businesses can run into a variety of issues when creating, changing, or updating the software that they
have created for their clients. For instance, a programmer could make a small change to an application
causing a ripple effect with endless updates ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are numerous companies such as Hewlett Packard (HP), IBM, and Atlassin that have created
their own ALM service to help software companies meet there business objectives.
On the contrary, software companies can have trouble selecting a provider that designs their own
ALM software. It is important that software companies need to keep in mind that some vendors do not
offer an all in one product. Most vendors create a suite of tools to offer in there ALM software. In fact,
a software company should look for tools that have strong functionality in the components that are
least mature within the organization, and when there are tools that are already in use, look for
opportunities to integrate with those tools (Owen, G., 2015). The best provider that a software
company should select if they want to use ALM software in their organization is Microsoft.
Microsoft s ALM product offers a broad suite of functionality available either on premises or in the
cloud (Wilson, N., Duggan, J., Murphy, T., Sobejana, M., Herschmann, J. 2015, p.5). Software
companies that use Microsoft s ALM product will receive a variety of features and tools to
demonstrate the products they create are trustworthy and meet all of the software components in their
application lifecycle. For instance, with release management in Visual Studio you can configure,

There are 18 variety of different kinds of properties using eggshell in real life. Eggshell is usually used
by four major section in daily life. First of all, the common way of using eggshell is agriculture such
as feeding it to chicken and the wild bird, giving plants a calcium boost, tossing it in the compost pile.
In the second place, the eggshells are utilized in medical part such as tooth re mineralizing, using the
shell s membrane as an all natural bandage, canine diarrhea remedy. The third, the usage of the
eggshells is for a human. For example, people usually use it to make calcium power for intake in daily
and your coffee for making the smooth flavor. And also some people use it cleaning clothes for stain
remover Lastly, charismas ornaments and sidewalk chalk are made from eggshell by people. For these
reasons, I figured out a chemical formula for the eggshell. Eggshell is made up of 95% calcium
carbonate and 5% calcium phosphate with magnesium carbonate.
The formula CACO3 is very common in natural such as limestone cave, animal s bones. Normally, the
cement production and agriculture have deployed this component. The formula CACO3 is utilized to
enforce the strength of cement in the company. Increasing the strength is one of a good property of
eggshell. The other one is raising a plant and garden. Most fertilizer companies produce a various type
of fertilizer to blend calcium in their products for encouraging vigorous plant growth. calcium boost

Fatigue, Excessive Vomiting, Headaches, Depression,...
Fatigue, excessive vomiting, headaches, depression, irritability, infertility, and death; these are all
symptoms and repercussions associated with HIV/AIDS. For such a long time, HIV/AIDS has been
called a gay disease. Even though the gay community was and is one the most affected populations, is
stating HIV/AIDS is a gay disease honestly rational or is it simply a way for individuals who do not
agree with same sex lifestyles to villainize and blame the very people they despise? The first article
titled Getting it Straight: HIV as a Gay Disease Is a Myth That Refuses to Die was written by an
author by the name of David Salyer, David Salyer is a writer who has published this article in a
collection of articles that discuss HIV/AIDS ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the ways Salyer used ethos in a very effective way to argue his claim was when he said, They
are not all gay. African American and Hispanic women together represent less than one fourth of all
U.S. women, but account for more than three fourths (76%) of AIDS cases among women in this
country (CDC Update, 6/98), (Para. 3). This use of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control, as a
source is very strong and credible because it is the sole purpose of the CDC to disclose information
regarding diseases and viruses in the United States. He was also attempting to make the point that not
all HIV cases are composed entirely of gay men. The article continues to use other, equally as strong
sources, such as: the New York Times, UNAIDS, and Dr. Sharon Hillier of the University of
Pittsburgh.
The latter article titled AIDS Is A Gay Disease uses ethos very poorly in comparison to its opposition.
The only really viable time Benkof uses ethos effectively is when he uses information cited as
belonging to Matt Foreman who is the Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task
Force. The mere mention of Matt Foreman came when Benkof said,
When gay leader Matt Foreman called AIDS a gay disease in 2008, narrow minded groups seized the
opportunity to renew their tired argument that homosexuality is a dangerous lifestyle (an odd analysis
given the rarity of HIV transmission through lesbian sex). But

Relationship Between Intentionality And Phenomenal...
In order to answer this question thoroughly we must define the key terms in the title, intentionality and
phenomenal character. Intentionality is defined by two separate terms, intentional object and
intentional content. The directedness of our thoughts towards a specific object or state of affairs is
what explains the intentional object. Intentional content refers to aspectual shape, the fact that if we
think of something we must think of it in a certain way. Therefore intentionality and an intentional
state as a whole is the specific way we think of the thing our thoughts are directed to a belief.
Phenomenal character is simply the what its likeness to be in that state. There is no actual explanation
of phenomenal character, only ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Rooted in Descartes, he stated that there can be nothing in the mind ... of which it is not aware, this
seems to me to be self evident. The main argument put forward by subsequent inseparatists follows on
from this view. They advocate for a mind to be a mind it has to be conscious. Then deriving that
consciousness has a phenomenology and therefore all conscious states, thus all intentional states, have
phenomenology. A state cannot be conscious without being phenomenal.
Strawson gives the example of cognitive phenomenology, whereby there is something it is like
experientially to understand a proposition. As evidence of this he creates a scenario where a woman is
talking to someone, another person then comes in with a piece of paper filled with black and white
marks. Consequently the woman faints, but what was it about the character of her experience that
made her faint? There could be many explanations of why the woman fainted after seeing a telegram.
However, then main conclusion Strawson draws from this is that in order for mental states to have
content, the belief must be had by a being with phenomenal states. For a mental state to have content it
must consist of phenomenal properties. Primitive animals undoubtedly experience intentionality.
When they are hungry, their thoughts are directed towards what they want to eat. However, it is
questionable, even unlikely, that primitive animals experience any phenomenal character. If what

Things Fall Apart Vs Nature
The idea of man versus something in the world is not foreign to most. A lot of the time a person can
find another groaning or complaining about something going on or happening. When in true reality,
there was nothing that person could do about it. The largest opponent that man has gone, and is going,
against is nature itself. Nature can do, visually, almost anything to mankind; however, man still tries
their hardest to defy and go against nature. In Things Fall Apart, the people of Umuofia and other
places use gods and goddesses as a way to describe what nature does to them. They say the gods and
goddesses will punish for misdemeanors or reward for virtues. In all honesty the people of Umuofia
just cover up the fact that nature is in charge

Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti s court sentence sparked a large debate through the nation back then that carries out today as to whether it was justifiable or not. Nicola Sacco worked a steady job at a shoe factory in Stoughton. He took a day off of work on April 15th. • 4. The Discovery Of Apollo 11 Since ancient times, men have gazed upon the cosmic ocean above our heads wondering what could be out there. In the last 2 centuries human kind has made a huge leap in technology and science, from horse drawn carriages to spaceships capable to send us into space. What used to be considered science fiction now is considered science fact. In 1969, Apollo 11 was the first manned mission to land on the moon, opening the path towards the stars. One problem that we encounter is distance. The closest star to Earth, beside the Sun, is Alpha Centauri B, being situated at 4.24 light years away. This means if we were traveling at the speed of light, we would need 4 years to get to the star, but the fastest man made object is the Voyager 1, a space probe launched by NASA in 1977, reaching the speed of 17 kilometers per second (compared to 300,000 kilometers per second, the speed of light). This means it will take over 74,000 years to reach Alpha Centauri B. In order to reach stars in a more effective way, we need to reach higher speeds. According to Einstein s theory of relativity nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. This is because the mass of an object that is moving with the speed of light is becoming infinite, requiring infinite energy to propel it, which is obviously impossible. Even at 80% of the speed of light, mass is becoming a big problem. One day, in Earth s distant future, there will be a Last day of the Earth scenario. Eventually, the sun will become a ... Among my close friends and family, I am known for my uncanny ability to get lost just about everywhere. So you could imagine how terrified I was that I would become extremely lost. My younger brother goes to a private school that is pretty far away from where Central is located. So my parents decided to wake us all up around 5:30 AM and leave the house around 6. They dropped me off at school around 7 AM. At first I was a bit annoyed because I thought that no other students would be at Central at that time. In retrospect, getting to school around 7 was not the worst event that happened to me. That happened a few hours later. I was able to talk to a couple of other freshmen who had suffered the same fate as I did. After maybe an hour of sitting around in the auditorium, the school day finally began for the freshmen. Our orientation leaders had to get to their own classes so the kids of 410 were left find our own way to our advisory. Whilst I was inside of the auditorium, I had become friendly with a girl named Candy from the same advisory. We walked to our advisory together and were lucky to get seats next to each other. When the advisory class ended, we walked towards our Algebra 1 Honors class together. My World History class was the next class of my day. Fortunately, I was able to secure a seat in the front row. Evolution Of Physical Discipline In The United States Ninety five percent of all toddlers in the United States have been physically disciplined at some point in their short lives (Magnuson, Waldfogel, 2005). There exists a conflicting message from our country s systems around how we protect and rear our children. Physical forms of discipline including, hitting or slapping, spanking, hitting with an object, or other forms of physical contact [for behavior modification] (Magnuson, Waldfogel, 2005, p. 178), are not allowed in non parental settings such as daycare, schools, and children s programming and yet the majority of our country s parents have at some point or are currently spanking their children in the homes. Forehand and McKinney (1993) believe that US families are still floating around in this ocean of uncertainty around discipline today. Looking at this evolution more in depth, parents relied heavily on religion to guide their attitudes and discipline behaviors in the 1700 s. As God fearing Puritans, it was paramount that children honored and obeyed their parents so as not to face the wrath of god and be sent to Hell. In defense of their children s mortal souls, parents and communities utilized severe forms of physical discipline to modify behavior and punish children. The beatings were often done in the center of town for all to see and children were forced to divulge their negative behaviors and be publicly shamed. As many of the church s teachings were geared toward obedience, this kind of extreme physical punishment was not only accepted but expected. Physical discipline was mainly carried out by the father of the household (Forehand, McKinney, 1993). People are creatures of their environment. Children were seen as inherently evil and full of sin and so there were no agencies set up to study the development of children or advocate for their rights. The beatings and public humiliation were seen as an act of love and spiritual protection on the part of the parents. • 8. Human Ecology Theory And Community Theory Community Theory In the Macro level of social work, communities are the primary settings for human behavior. Communities are clusters of people who have something in common. A major social work perspective views communities as entities where citizens can organize or be organized in order to address mutual concerns and improve their over all quality of life. Throughout this paper I will discuss four conceptual perspectives of communities. I will cover the following, Human Ecology, Socio Psychological, Structural, and Functionalist. These perspectives are important for a social worker to understand in order to create change for the individuals in a community. In the process of explaining each perspective I will also discuss the key concepts ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These characteristics are usually race, ethnicity, religion, social pressure, or personal choice. These Ecological concepts demographics, competition, segregation and integration can help social workers analyze a community in terms of its fairness and support to all of its members. One of the strengths gathered from this perspective is that it allows for the issues to be identified and it implements change as needed. The Human Ecology perspective can help frame subsequent questions like how to change the situation. It has concern for the individuals within the community but its main focus is on the environment. With the focus on the environment it will be better to determine why people behave the way they do. One of the concepts of this perspective is also one of tis strengths and that is when integration occurs. Members will come together and function as a whole. However, this theory does have its weaknesses. For one when the demographics mentioned are becoming unlivable members will compete and segregate themselves. This causes the community to always be in chaos. Viewing communities from a Human Ecology perspective it provides a useful assessment mechanism for understanding why people act as they do within the context of the larger community macro system. Forty to Fifty million people lost their lives during World War II. This was a war that lasted for about six years and involved countries from around the whole world. The axis powers in the war consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan. The Allie powers consisted of the United States, France, Great Britain, the Soviet Union, and to a lesser extent, China. It is said that unsettled disputes from the first world war, World War I, is what was the main cause of WWII. Japan trained men for the war starting at the age of nine years old. It is said that of all the Soviet men that were born in the year 1923, only twenty percent survived the war. This means eighty percent of all males died in the war. That s from one country, imagine how many innocent lives were taken during the war. All because of one man, Adolf Hitler. The war stemmed off in early 1939 when German dictator Adolf Hitler had intentions of invading Poland. Poland knew about this, so they went to France and Britain for an alliance should Germany invade them. When Germany heard about this, they decided it would be good to take out the Soviets because they didn t know if they would fight on Poland s side or not. This stated that once Poland was taken over, the country would be divided evenly between the two power countries. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 13. Solar System Formation Ideas concerning the origin and fate of the world date from the earliest known writings. However, for all that time, there was no attempt to link such theories to the existence of a Solar System , simply because no one knew or believed that the Solar System, in the sense we now understand it, existed. The first step towards a theory of Solar System formation was the general acceptance of heliocentrism, the model which placed the Sun at the center of the system and the Earth in orbit around it. This conception had been gestating for thousands of years but was only widely accepted by the end of the 17th century. The first recorded use of the term Solar System dates from 1704. The formation and evolution of the Solar System began 4.6 billion years ago with the gravitational collapse of a small part of a giant molecular cloud. Most of the collapsing mass collected in the center, forming the Sun, while the rest flattened into a protoplanetary disk out of which the planets, moons, asteroids, and other small Solar System bodies formed. This model, known as the nebular hypothesis, was first developed in the 18th century by Emanuel Swedenborg, Immanuel Kant, and Pierre Simon Laplace. Although the source is admittedly different, these levels are very much higher than those found in outdoor urban background sites in the UK (around 15 g/m3). Both epidemiological and experimental studies have shown that indoor air pollution has serious consequences for health, especially in women and children. Conditions such as acute lower respiratory infection, particularly pneumonia in children, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer and cataract are the major illnesses associated with or caused by indoor air pollution (World Health Organization, 2002). Exposure to smoke from solid fuel increases the risk of COPD by approximately threefold in adults, and the risk is much higher in women who do the cooking (Kurmi et al, 2010). Worldwide, indoor air pollution accounts for 2 million deaths annually (United Nations Development Programme, 2009) and 2.7% of the loss of disability adjusted life years (DALYs; World Health Organization, 2002). In developing countries, 44% of these deaths occur in children, and 60% of the adult deaths occur in women (United Nations Development Programme, 2009). Apart from the local health effects, the burning of solid fuels can also have a much wider impact on the environment. Although

Analysis of Live Performances This paper will concentrate on the analysis and the review of three major performances, Missa Mirabilis, Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op.43 and Dona Nobis Pacem. These pieces of performances are generally based on a religious setting of the several regions that the very detailed and are represented in a very organized way. To begin, Missa Mirabilis is a piece that was celebrated at the Westminster Cathedral for the feast of Corpus Christi on the 10th of June, 2007. This gave a new setting of the Mass by world renowned pianist, Stephen Hough. He named the piece Missa Mirabilis that is translated to Miracle Mass in English. While writing this script, he was involved in a car crash while driving at about 80 mph, but the script and Hough survived the crash. The work is bound by melodic lines with some choral structure that gives the piece a form of inner strength plus some unique harmonic cushion. The piece was well organized to give it some comfortable assurance. The speed that was employed in the piece was very moderate and was well handled by the chorus of singers who sounded buoyant and fresh at all times, even to the very last stage of the performance. The arranged movement that was used in the piece provided the contrast between different levels of vocals in a very intimate manner and way. This was very instrumental in providing the path that paved way for the difference between innocence and experience by the two different groups of performers. It gave a clear ... Even when he is claiming his roots, he is secretly ashamed of them. Despite his mixed feelings about being Indian, Edgar tries to perpetuate a positive image of the modern American Indian man. He wears his hair in long, black braids as a symbol of his heritage, and tells people that his name is Edgar Eagle Runner, instead of Edgar Joseph like his license says. Edgar also refrains from drinking massive amounts of alcohol because he does not want to maintain and confirm any of my ethnic stereotypes, let alone the most prevalent one (591). However, after realizing that his wife has been faking her orgasms for at least a year, Edgar abruptly leaves his marriage bed and goes to a local Indian bar to have a drink. It is at this bar that the contrast in class is made, as the title of the story suggests. Edgar chooses to go to an Indian owned bar Chuck s to have his drink. It is important that software companies need to keep in mind that some vendors do not offer an all in one product. Most vendors create a suite of tools to offer in there ALM software. In fact, a software company should look for tools that have strong functionality in the components that are least mature within the organization, and when there are tools that are already in use, look for opportunities to integrate with those tools (Owen, G., 2015). The best provider that a software company should select if they want to use ALM software in their organization is Microsoft. Microsoft s ALM product offers a broad suite of functionality available either on premises or in the cloud (Wilson, N., Duggan, J., Murphy, T., Sobejana, M., Herschmann, J. 2015, p.5). Fatigue, excessive vomiting, headaches, depression, irritability, infertility, and death; these are all symptoms and repercussions associated with HIV/AIDS. For such a long time, HIV/AIDS has been called a gay disease. Even though the gay community was and is one the most affected populations, is stating HIV/AIDS is a gay disease honestly rational or is it simply a way for individuals who do not agree with same sex lifestyles to villainize and blame the very people they despise? African American and Hispanic women together represent less than one fourth of all U.S. women, but account for more than three fourths (76%) of AIDS cases among women in this country (CDC Update, 6/98), (Para. 3). This use of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control, as a source is very strong and credible because it is the sole purpose of the CDC to disclose information regarding diseases and viruses in the United States. He was also attempting to make the point that not all HIV cases are composed entirely of gay men. The article continues to use other, equally as strong sources, such as: the New York Times, UNAIDS, and Dr. Sharon Hillier of the University of Pittsburgh. The latter article titled AIDS Is A Gay Disease uses ethos very poorly in comparison to its opposition. The only really viable time Benkof uses ethos effectively is when he uses information cited as belonging to Matt Foreman who is the Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. The mere mention of Matt Foreman came when Benkof said, When gay leader Matt Foreman called AIDS a gay disease in 2008, narrow minded groups seized the opportunity to renew their tired argument that homosexuality is a dangerous lifestyle (an odd analysis given the rarity of HIV transmission through lesbian sex). • 34. Relationship Between Intentionality And Phenomenal... In order to answer this question thoroughly we must define the key terms in the title, intentionality and phenomenal character. Intentionality is defined by two separate terms, intentional object and intentional content. The directedness of our thoughts towards a specific object or state of affairs is what explains the intentional object. Intentional content refers to aspectual shape, the fact that if we think of something we must think of it in a certain way. Therefore intentionality and an intentional state as a whole is the specific way we think of the thing our thoughts are directed to a belief. Phenomenal character is simply the what its likeness to be in that state. There is no actual explanation of phenomenal character, only ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Rooted in Descartes, he stated that there can be nothing in the mind ... of which it is not aware, this seems to me to be self evident. The main argument put forward by subsequent inseparatists follows on from this view. They advocate for a mind to be a mind it has to be conscious. Then deriving that consciousness has a phenomenology and therefore all conscious states, thus all intentional states, have phenomenology. A state cannot be conscious without being phenomenal. Strawson gives the example of cognitive phenomenology, whereby there is something it is like experientially to understand a proposition. As evidence of this he creates a scenario where a woman is talking to someone, another person then comes in with a piece of paper filled with black and white marks. Consequently the woman faints, but what was it about the character of her experience that made her faint? There could be many explanations of why the woman fainted after seeing a telegram. However, then main conclusion Strawson draws from this is that in order for mental states to have content, the belief must be had by a being with phenomenal states. For a mental state to have content it must consist of phenomenal properties. Primitive animals undoubtedly experience intentionality. When they are hungry, their thoughts are directed towards what they want to eat. However, it is questionable, even unlikely, that primitive animals experience any phenomenal character. If what ... A lot of the time a person can find another groaning or complaining about something going on or happening. When in true reality, there was nothing that person could do about it. The largest opponent that man has gone, and is going, against is nature itself. Nature can do, visually, almost anything to mankind; however, man still tries their hardest to defy and go against nature. In Things Fall Apart, the people of Umuofia and other places use gods and goddesses as a way to describe what nature does to them.
