10. Traditional
• Requires you to relay factual information
• Employer is taking your word at face value
• Sample Questions:
• Tell me about yourself?
• Why are you interested in this role?
• What are your weaknesses?

11. Behavioural
• Employer makes assumptions about your future performance
based on past behaviours and attitudes
• Requires you to offer concrete, specific examples
• Sample questions:
• Tell me about a time when you showed team work
• Give me an example of a challenge you faced and how you dealt with it
• Tell me about a time when you had too many things to do and you were
required to prioritise your tasks.

13. At the interview - DON’T…
• Be intimidated
• Be late
• Undervalue yourself
• Be too familiar

• Don’t go off on a tangent – use the STAR principle

• Keep a folder/spreadsheet of the roles applied for
with notes
• Get feedback from agencies/companies if applied
directly
• How could you prepare for next time?
• Opportunity to take stock
• Consider your career aspirations
