The differences are ;

Allah Says in the Holy Quran
Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 34:
“ Men are the managers of the
affairs of women because men

• GENDER AND PROPERTY SHARING IN ISLAM
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah
Nisaa verse 11:
Allah (thus) directs you as regards your children's (inheritance): to the male a
portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters two or more their share is
two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one her share is a half. For parents a sixth
share of the inheritance to each if the deceased left children; if no children and
the parents are the (only) heirs the mother has a f; if fourth. the deceased left
brothers (or sisters) the mother has a eight. (The distribution in all cases is) after
the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your
children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by
Allah, and Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise.

• GENDER BIAS IN EDUCATION
Our education system is facing gender disparity badly that’s
why Only 18% of Pakistani women have received 10
years or more of schooling.
Year Male Female
1951 19.2 % 12.2 %
1961 26.9 % 8.2 %
1998 54.8 % 32.0 %
2012 79 % 55 %
Literacy Rate in Pakistan
Female Ratio in Education is
24 % less than Male.
The current primary school ratio in
Pakistan is,
boys : girls
10 : 4
The gender disparity is affected by the Taliban enforcement of
a complete ban on female education, as reported in a January
21, 2009 issue of the Pakistan daily newspaper “The News”
Some 400 private schools enrolling 40,000 girls have been
shut down. At least 10 girls' schools that tried to open after
the January 15, 2009 deadline by the Taliban were blown up
by the militants in the town of Mingora, the headquarters of
the Swat district. "More than 170 schools have been
bombed.

• Importance and Effects on Society
From this quotation , It is evident that women education as compare
to men is very significant. If a girl is educated, her future generation
will b educated that can lead our society and the whole state towards
betterment and development

Gender And Occupations
DIFFERENCES
• Opportunities
• Salaries / Wages
• Designations
• Second Shifts
• Work Load
Low Designations
Gender inequality in the workplace is easy to see in the form of low
designations for women in our society, for example :
• Female nurses assist male physicians
• Female secretaries server male executives
• Female flight attendants are under the command of male pilots
Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development
found that female full time employees earned 17 % less
than their male counterparts in 2009
Low Salaries
Improvement
Till the late 1990s, it was impossible for women to attain high
ranking posts in any organization of the country. However, with the
inception of telecom giants, Telenor highlighted this issue in the
market. Telenor brought with itself the employment laws which
allowed women of the country to work alongside men and even
provided them with leadership opportunities. Mobilink also adopted
similar policies in order to maintain its superiority in terms of market
share, over Telenor. Thus, the competition provided a step towards
the eradication of gender discrimination in Pakistan.
