Instead, many programs like Microsoft Word allow teachers and students to create a web page by using basic computer skills. This task is meant for users who are familiar with Word, and can navigate through the program easily. Luckily, when someone initially learns to use a computer, Word is usually one of the first programs to be mastered.

3. Purpose of Creating a Web Page In this instance, the purpose of creating a web page will be for teachers to post assignments and announcements. For students, this will be where they can post their work, and resources used for research. Instead of the teacher collecting between 20 and 30 hard copy assignments, the students can update there web page. In addition, there will be no excuse that “the dog ate my homework,” or the teacher misplacing submitted assignments.
