This ranges from convincing a colleague to use a certain design pattern to selling research to your boss and convincing a client to go for your concept. You can come up with the best ideas in the world, but if it is presented in the wrong way these ideas will die a lonely dead. This is sad, because everybody can learn how to bring a message across. The main thing is that you know what to pay attention to.
In this session I will take you on a journey through the world of presenting ideas. We will move through the heads of clients and your colleagues, learn what their thoughts and needs are. We will move to the core of your idea and into the world of psychology.

Create icons in PowerPoint
Using icons is a great way to add visuals to your presentation. There are many ways to get icons online, some are even free. But if you need a specific icon that you can’t find or if you want a special spin to your icon (color, shadow etc) – you can use PowerPoint’s great (and somewhat hidden) “Merge Shapes” commands to create your own icons.
Using these commands you can combine basic shapes into other shapes. You can union and subtract shapes. You can intersect and combine. All while still working natively inside PowerPoint. Once you have created an icon you can change the color, filling and add shadows as needed.
It is just as fun as building with Lego blocks! Well, almost..

Sanjeev NC: 5 Game Techniques to Immediately Apply in Your Service Desk
Gamification in service management is nothing new, but all too often it only focuses on points, badges, and leaderboards. In this presentation, Sanjeev goes beyond this, and shows you how you can apply gaming techniques to drive the right behaviours amongst end users and agents. Gamification - A Brief Introduction to Gamification
Gamification involves using game mechanics and game design techniques to engage and motivate people in non-game contexts. It can be used to encourage behaviors like learning, productivity, physical activity and more. Gameful Design: Creating Engaging Experiences
Gameful design focuses on using elements of game design in non-game contexts to create engaging experiences. There are three key aspects to consider: competence through interesting challenges and feedback, autonomy through meaningful choices, and relatedness through caring for others rather than just points. Superficial elements like badges and leaderboards often undermine motivation, while well-designed systems can support mastery, exploration, and mutual care by modeling the values of play. The experience emerges from the whole system rather than isolated mechanics. True engagement comes from supporting intrinsic needs for competence, autonomy and relatedness through systemic architectures rather than just surface features.

You have to ask some of these important questions before you start implementing gamification in your product —
Why is a user doing a particular action in the product?
Why do users return to use your product?
What do they care about?
Digging into intrinsic motivation will help in designing compelling experiences and avoid some common pitfalls of gamification.
You have to connect Points, Badges, Levels, Leaderboards, and other reputation/reward systems that you decide with the intrinsic motivation of your user.
Keep these learnings in mind and you will be able to create a powerful gamification system for your product.
Innovation Pioneers Tank Meeting 22 May 2013: Gamification

Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
