This document discusses how gaming can provide solutions to make reality more engaging and meaningful. It outlines 14 "fixes" that games employ and how they could be applied to reality, such as: providing voluntary obstacles to challenge us, focusing our energy on things we enjoy, giving us a sense of purpose through clear goals and missions, improving our chances of success, and enabling stronger social connections and collaboration. The author argues that games reliably produce "flow" states and positive emotions that could help address issues like depression, hopelessness and disconnect in reality.
Optimism is the belief that assumes positive future outcomes and is a conscious choice to empower oneself and celebrate life. This document discusses productivity and energy. It argues that time is an external factor that cannot be controlled, while energy is internal and can be grown. There are four sources of energy: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Physical energy determines quantity of work while emotional determines quality, mental focuses on focus and optimism, and spiritual provides meaning. Productivity depends on managing these energy sources. Rituals can be used to develop new habits and automatic behaviors by repeating specific actions regularly. People operate based on routines from the past unless new rituals are established.
Great leaders build Trust, Engage and are Competent (TEC). After citing 187 white papers, articles and books on leadership, Ian Rheeder proved that leadership boils down to three TEC domains – Trust, Engagement and Competence. 649 leaders were trained to validate the TEC Leadership System (2013), and every single leader strongly agreed that the TEC System worked.
Happy Energy - The connection between positive thinking and sustainable livingerik_schoppen
Erik Schoppen shows that our brain is not only an energetic cosmos between our ears, but also a generator of our own ‘happy energy’. The brain, with 80 billion neurons one of the most complex structures in the universe, is a perfect example of nature’s power to develop a sustainable solution that rewards you for thinking positive and being socially aware of others on this magnificent planet we live on. This lecture shows you the ‘mental loop’ of feeling better when you live a more sustainable life.
The sustainability symbol was created in 2010 by Erik Schoppen, because he saw in his research a strong connection between positive thinking and sustainable living. As a sustainable neuroscience researcher and human-centered designer he developed the vision ‘Happy Energy = Happy Planet = Happy Future’ and designed the new universal symbol for sustainable and positive energy. The symbol, also known as the 'happy energy' sign, represents a new sustainable era, based on a positive pro-social view and a future-proof environmental approach. This is what he calls Generation-Transcending Leadership - working globally together on our sustainable future. In 2011 Erik Schoppen was co-founder of Happy Energy, Movement for a positive and sustainable world.
At the moment he is working towards his PhD (social neuroscience) at the University of Groningen. His research is about Trusting Sustainability.
"You experience 'happy energy' when you think positive and choose for a sustainable lifestyle." - Erik Schoppen.
This document summarizes a study on sustained personal transformation. It discusses circumstances that can trigger intentional change in adulthood, pathways to transformation, outcomes of transformation, lessons learned, and implications for organizations. The study found that intentional change is triggered by a confluence of internal and external circumstances, and involves a lengthy process of reflection, risk-taking, and adapting to unfamiliar situations. Transformation results in changed identities and priorities. Organizations seeking transformation need to encourage creativity, community, and inner work to redefine their purpose and mission.

Educational computer games can benefit children's development in several ways: 1) They engage children in a fun and motivating way while stimulating thinking and learning. 2) They reinforce cognitive, social, and physical skills. 3) When designed well, educational games form a connection between learning and enjoyment that raises children's learning levels. However, games also need to be used in moderation and parents should monitor content to avoid issues like excessive screen time, desensitization to violence, or reinforcement of the idea that mistakes have no real consequences.

Through qualitative research involving over 300 people ages 2-90 in Germany, China, and the US, the report identifies 5 key motivations for play ("Play Needs") and examines how, where, and with whom people play. It also analyzes trends that may influence the future of play, such as play becoming integrated into more areas of life. The goal of the report is to better understand play and how IKEA can foster more playful experiences in the home.
Why are games significant in education . Fit for futuremagdajanusz
Games are significant in education for several reasons: they motivate students to learn, help students work as part of a team and take responsibility for their learning, and can be used as a classroom management tool. Specifically, games engage students in learning, reinforce lessons, and increase positivity in the classroom. They also increase motivation, control competitiveness, help problem solving and mental cognition, create peer positivity, provide a less stressful way for students to demonstrate knowledge, and increase memory, class cooperation, attention, and create a fun learning environment.

Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune DiseaseHealth Advances
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

These lecture slides, by Dr Sidra Arshad, offer a quick overview of the physiological basis of a normal electrocardiogram.
Learning objectives:
1. Define an electrocardiogram (ECG) and electrocardiography
2. Describe how dipoles generated by the heart produce the waveforms of the ECG
3. Describe the components of a normal electrocardiogram of a typical bipolar lead (limb II)
4. Differentiate between intervals and segments
5. Enlist some common indications for obtaining an ECG
6. Describe the flow of current around the heart during the cardiac cycle
7. Discuss the placement and polarity of the leads of electrocardiograph
8. Describe the normal electrocardiograms recorded from the limb leads and explain the physiological basis of the different records that are obtained
9. Define mean electrical vector (axis) of the heart and give the normal range
10. Define the mean QRS vector
11. Describe the axes of leads (hexagonal reference system)
12. Comprehend the vectorial analysis of the normal ECG
13. Determine the mean electrical axis of the ventricular QRS and appreciate the mean axis deviation

2. In the learning process of Children/Games
surpasses all other methods of learning.
Stories pictures have slowly been taken
over by virtual games which uses visual,
aural and even physical movement. That
is the power of games.
Happiness For You
3. Parents should provide Games as Gaming
is a very important activity amongst
children. It can increase sharpness,
promote Psycho motor skills, improve
language goal setting and positively
engage children.

4. More research and work should be done on
developing games that promote the seeds
of Happiness as Gratitude, Love,
Kindness empathy Compassion Respect
and so on.

5. At present most of the virtual games are on
violence, gunning and that is what covertly
we are teaching the children. Indirectly we
are making them more aggressive, more
violent, incidences of which we all have
seen.
Happiness For You
6. Now a positive note if we can develop
games promoting or teaching violence and
gunning we can also do the reverse.

7. The Globe is very rich on the themes on
which future games can be developed for
instance we have the Panchantantra
stories in India all having strong moral
teachings. There may be many many
more though out the Globe.

8. We wish to create a World Repository on
the different types of games prevalent
across the globe. We call upon all parents
and Youth to contribute, to engage, to
share and to be benefited by the cross
Cultural exchanges.
