Gratitude is great, but sometimes its hard to practise.
So instead, be proud.
Each day list at least 5 things that you are proud of yourself for.
Start from where you are right now in your life. e.g.
- “Im proud I made my bed this morning”
- “Im proud I finished collage.”
You can absolutely find 5 things from your past and present to be
proud of each day. So do it!
This trains your brain to recognise your accomplishments. The more
you train yourself to see what you're proud of, the more you will find
things to be proud of.

We are all guilty of asking ourselves questions that keep us
stuck, angry, frustrated, and miserable.
The majority of us ask questions that focus on the negative e.g.
- Why does this always happen to me?
- Why am I always left out?
- How could they think this was ok?
You need to start asking yourself questions that look for the solution,
that find the silver lining, that empower you to take control.
These are questions such as:
- What can I learn from this?
- How can I make this better?
- Whats my next step?
Choose to ask questions that put you in a place of
empowerment, because you always have a choice.

You need to change your entire concept of what failure is.
See your failure for what it really is; you having the guts to give
something a go and break out of the mediocre world you find yourself
surrounded by.
You gave something a try, which already puts you in a category outside
the norm.
Everyone has failures in their life, you just don't know about them. We
don't share our failures openly with others so therefore think that we
are the only ones. But you’re not! Remember that.
Just remember, you learnt something from your experience.
Discover what the lesson was that you learnt from your ‘failure’
experience and apply it to your life. It will serve you well when the next
adventure shows up… Because a new adventure always shows up.
