The major video game publishers were slow to enter the social gaming market on Facebook. As of February 2013, Electronic Arts had the most monthly active Facebook users of any publisher at 35.29 million, followed by Disney Interactive Studio at 15.24 million. However, the social gaming market is large and growing, expected to account for 50% of the global video game market by 2016.
