The games reinforcethe mathematical thinking of children especially those
related to mathematics and mainly used for teaching, contributing to training
memory, the ability to predict and find relationships in sharpening
concentration, attention and observation in space perception, developing
mathematical reasoning computer skills logical-mathematical (Kamii & De
Clark, 1995, Kamii & Rummelsburg, 2008) and probabilistic thinking.

Playing with dice
Childrenplay in pairs. One child writes on a
sheet number in the specified range, eg.
100. The second child throws the dice, add
to a saved number of number of stitches on
the ankle and reports the result.
After 10 throws then reverse roles. He wins
a child who flawlessly calculated a greater
number of activities.
You can also use subtraction or
multiplication.

Who has more?
Childrenplay in pairs. They draw
lots cardboard box and add the
number of dots, or comparing
results. A person with more wins
and takes 2 cartons. The winner is
the student with more cartons.
Of course you can also use other
mathematical operations.

is to fill the table in such a way that
each row, each column and each

Hunt for geometricfigures
Aids: the game board (geometric shapes
with written numbers), dice, poker chips
in 2 colors
Students play in pairs. They throw the
dice and add, subtract multiply or divide
the number of discarded mesh.
Set your chip on the figure of the
number indicate the result of the
mathematical operation performed.
Student wins with more chips on the
board.

Race frogs
Students drawlots 2 digit
numbers, add them up and
move "frog" as many spaces
as indicated by the result of
the addition. He wins a child
who reaches the finish line
first, which is the number
100.

Minute start
Students performmathematical operations within 1
minute and record the number of counts.
A colleague validates the job and a good result
gives 1 point. He wins the student with the best
results.
Great fun to practice counting in memory. You can
use different numbers depending on the age of the
students.

An addition mashine
Myolder students love to experiment with
bigger numbers. When 3 students play, one
likes to use a white board to write down
whatever math problem they are working on
while the other two count out the beads.
The children put the first set of counting
items in the first cup, and the other child
puts the second set in the second cup. They
all fall through to the basket, and then they
count them all

Funny game witha scarf education
Children have to draw (random) number and
put it on their shirts. Then all the children
have to stay around scarf and hold it. The
teacher chooses one word (or command), and
when he says the word out loud, all the kids
have to pick up a scarf. The teacher can say
the numbers aloud, for example 9, 2, or
double digits or numbers divided by 2, or
numbers greater than ... less than ... When
the teacher says a special word or command,
all children who have a special number, or
that fits specific command you need to run
under the scarf and change your place in the
circle. For example, commands can be any
number which comprise two (e.g., 2, 12, 22,
etc.). And as a result, any child who has his
number 2, replace your place with another
child. Students may propose their own ideas
for this exercise.
