The frog goes through four main stages in its life cycle: egg, tadpole, developing froglet, and adult frog. In the egg stage, the frog lays many jelly-coated eggs. These hatch into tadpoles, which have tails and gills. As the tadpole grows, it develops lungs and limbs while its tail is reabsorbed, allowing it to live on land as an adult frog.
