Rationale:
I recently created a demo version of my game so I know what I can use and how I can improve on it. I have
practiced using pixel art so I know what styles I can use and what I can create and implement into the game. I plan
on using screenshots and images from other sources and creators to give me inspiration on how to design my
characters for the game. I can easily do research on specific parts of Photoshop and/or Premiere Pro either in
college or at home if I am required to.
Project Concept:
The concept of my project is that the playable characters (Jacksepticeye, Markiplier and PewDiePie) have been
transported to another dimension where all characters from different forms of media live together but things start
going wrong when Sonic.exe is seen attacking a nearby village where the sky goes dark red and blood seeps from
the ground as everyone is screaming and running from a demon, Sonic.exe, this is where the first level starts, with
one of the selected characters (for the animation I will use Jacksepticeye) running down a straight path as villagers
are seen in the background running in the opposite direction until the player confronts Sonic.exe, which ends with
it taunting the player and soon launching them away to the second, and final, level of the game where they will
meet the real Sonic, mistaking him for Sonic.exe and starts the first battle with the player facing him, this is where
the tutorial starts, showing the player each section and gives them a few tips on how to do well during the fight;
there will also be other tips when important events happen like when Vegeta and Goku join the fight, causing the
player to learn how to fuse the two characters during the fights, giving the players more options for battling each
opponent.
How will the project be evaluatedand reviewed?
I plan on evaluating the game during its progress at the end of each day of development and ask people to have a
look at the game and give their opinions about it, so I know what works and what doesn’t work.
