I will be using animation to make a videogame
Rationale:
In the last year I gained skills like photography and asset design and animation to create a
videogame and the advertising for it. From posters, adverts, billboards. I have learned how to
animate and create assets like walk cycles backgrounds enemy’s and effects that happen to the
world / character. This will help me create the game as I have experience in creating the game and
any effects I need to do. I have learned how to create posters and advertising. I will use this
experience to create advertising material for my product. I will be making a game with the skills
that I have picked up.
Project Concept:
The concept for my project is a game with full animations in it accompanied by sound affects a
song backtrack as well as animated cuts scenes.I'm going to create advertising for the product and
internal advertising such as adverts and magazines. I am going to produce a fully animated game
with sound affect and advertising for it like posters and magazines
I need to research existing games that are in the similar genre to the game as I am planning to
make. I will look at the colours that games use and what games do to draw people in, increase the
total play time, and play cycle. I will research what kind of soft wear company’s use to animate
their game and design assets. I will research who company's advertise games and spread the
game throughout media.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
I will evaluate the work after I have completed it by going through it and illustrating the strong and
weak points of it. Once I have gone through it, I will say what I believe I could have done to make it
better upon a second view. I will put my product next to a pre-existing product and talk about the
similarities and the goods and Bads about my product
