This document outlines 5 tips for better search presented by Kristian Norling at IntranetNow on October 13, 2015. The tips are: 1) Commit to search as an ongoing process, not a project. 2) Have as many people dedicated to deleting outdated information as contributing new information. 3) Watch out for information that is redundant, outdated, or trivial. 4) Dates are the most important type of metadata for determining if information should be deleted, archived, or kept. 5) Get feedback from search users to improve search over time with persistence.
