Oysters are cultivated for pearls.

canals,ponds,reservoirs, lakes and
rivers.
Brackish water resources, where
fresh water and seawater mix
together, such as estuaries and
lagoons are also important.
Capture fishing does not provide
high yield. Most fish production from
inland is through aquaculture.

combination with a rice crop.
Intensive fish farming can be done in
composite fish culture systems.
10. Honey which is used widely as a
natural sweetener and beehives are a
source of wax which used in various
medicinal preparations.
The Italian bees have high honey
collection capacity. They stay in a
given beehive for long periods, and
breed very well.
The quality of honey depends upon the
pasturage, or the nectar and pollen.
