This document provides an overview for a proposed indie music magazine called Reverb. The magazine will be published biweekly in both print and digital formats. It will promote up upcoming indie artists and educate readers about the indie genre through articles, photos, and Spotify playlists accessible via QR codes printed in the magazine. The target audiences are 15-19 year old female and 19-25 year old male and female indie music fans in London. Resources needed to produce the initial issues include design software, cameras, a laptop and modeling will be done by the creator. Distribution and marketing plans include selling in music and clothing stores, advertising at concerts and on social media platforms. Article topics will feature new albums, competitions, interviews and recommendations about the indie style

Objective with an overview of
the magazine
*a genre based magazine that celebrates the Indie
genre, style and its artists
*The purpose of my magazine is to promote
upcoming indie artists and raise their profiles
*We want educate our audience on the Indie genre so
that any new indie fans gain a better understanding
on the genre and become more informed
*We also aim to entertain our audience with the
content, images and opportunities that are available
to them.

* The form of my magazine will be a print and digital magazine,
this magazine will have a new issue every two weeks
* we are going to offer our customers subscription deals, so the
longer the subscription they buy is the better a deal
* My print magazine will cost £2.50 and my online magazine will
cost £2
* For our online subscription you will need to go to our website,
which will provide our audience with a few extra services/deals
for example some music of artist we are trying to promote
which they can download for free

*The genre I chose to make this magazine on is
Indie
*The genres focuses more on creating their
music independently, without major influence
from others and is more about what kind of
sound and music the band wants to take instead
of the consumer. Another reason I'm choosing
this genre is because it did originate from
London so it wouldn't be too hard to find artists
to feature in the magazine.

*My front cover will have 5 article titles, the cover is a
main photo of an artist being featured with their name.
On the bottom of the magazine there will a link to the
website and the magazines social media username.
*The content of double page spread will contain a large
image of two music artist and will have 5 articles.
* The USP of my magazine is that in the bottom left of
my magazine there will be a Spotify QR scannable
code which will open a playlist with music by the artists
being featured that week.
*My magazines color scheme will be mostly the muted
colors blue, pink, yellow, orange and black.

Graphic designer-they create visual concept
art using computers to come up with ideas
and develop the overall layout.
Art designer- they’re responsible for the
visual style of the magazine and determine
how everything will be presented (oversee
the designers).
Models-to take photos of to put in the cover
and double page spread.
Editor-they is responsible for writing, editing
content also checking for proper spelling and
grammar.
Publisher-they are responsible for publishing
the magazine, they manage business
operations so that readers have high quality
content and make a lot of revenue and profit.
Fact checkers- to make sure that all the
information being used in the magazine
articles are accurate (editor can also do this.
Head of marketing- oversees the marketing
of the magazine and how it is marketed to
that it is done effectively.

schools, campuses and in stores
*the magazines will also be sold around music,
art stores, near indie clothing stores and vinyl
stores also at Indie concerts.

10. *Marketing plan
*My marketing plan is to market on social media
platforms like twitter, Instagram, YouTube and
also Spotify (Spotify has paid ads for non-
premium Spotify users). Furthermore we will
advertise in school by putting up posters around
the schools marketing our magazine. Also we
will advertise our magazine at Indie music
concerts

*The title of my music magazine is Reverb as it
is music terminology it gives a modern feel to
the magazine which will fit the whole idea of
new upcoming music and artists.

*The first article idea is "new album" which will talk about
a new album a artist/band we are promoting has
released.
*Another article idea is "competition" where our
customers have the chance of winning free studio time
with the artists being featured.
*Another article idea is 'Upcoming artists' which will talk
about the artist we are promoting and a short interview.

which will talk about the indie genre.
*The last article will be in 'indie style' so it will
recommend indie stores, clothes and styles.
