   to develop new pedagogic use of technology
    that provide added value for learners and
    teachers
   to use new technology and mobile devices to
    increase collaboration and sharing in
    teaching and learning
   to use digital storytelling to support learning
   to advance 21st century skills e.g. problem
    solving and creativity

   Tools for working.
    ◦ Information and communications technology (ICT)

      responsibility

                                     Vuorenmäen koulu
   8 classes (from 4th to 6th grade)
   8 adults
   approx. 180 children

   The aim is to renew the traditional roles
    between teachers and pupils so that they
    have a shared learning experience where
    everyone can learn from anyone else.



                               Vuorenmäen koulu
1.   A group of pupils pick a subject: maths,
     history, science etc. (collaboration)
2.   Create, with your group, a digital small
     story that includes a problem with a
     camcorder (question)
3.   Try to answer to some other group’s
     problem with your own digital story
     (answer)
4.   Publish your story at the FinnABLE video
     platform (share)

   One questionnaire before the project starts
   One questionnaire after the project
   Also interviewing both the teachers and the
    pupils
   Probably video taping during the project
   Project duration max. 1 month
   Sept. 15th – Oct. 15th before the holidays
