1. Looking back at your preliminary task,
what do you feel you have learnt in the
progression of it to the full product?

2. Throughout this project, I have not only learnt how to put clips
we have filmed ourselves together within Premier Pro, but also how
to add effects and sound. My ability of using the system has
grown through experimentation and practice on the preliminary
task. I found timing the pieces and changing the volume of the
music I used very difficult, this was due to my inexperience within
the programme (the ending of the piece shows this). Despite this,
I still feel my skills have made a large improvement from the
beginning of the course.

3. The camera we used throughout filming, easily detected wobbles or
jumps while filming the clips, this therefore meant that some of
our footage was unable to use or cut due to the camera lack of
stability. In many places it is hardly detectable and almost fits
within the genre as a hand-held camera effect. We attempted to
use the microphone so that we had our own non-diagetic sound.
After recording the sound we wanted, we decided it was not
exactly what we wanted, this meant we found and downloaded music
and sound effects to fit with our piece.

4. Due to the preliminary task I am now able to use premier pro
properly. alongside using specific camera shots, such as, the
tracking shot we used around the Ouija board and characters within
the opening. I am now also able to plan ahead with what we are
doing, by using mind maps, scripts and storyboards. throughout all
of this I have most importantly learnt how to use, upload and
style my own, personal media blog.

5. Overall I feel there has been a vast improvement on the level of
profession within my work. The look of the finished product is much
better than the preliminary task; I feel this may be due to the
research undertaken and the choice in subject. We enjoyed the
genre; therefore we enjoyed filming in the style of the genre. My
preliminary task was almost a guide for what I would need to
know/achieve within my final piece. This, as a guide, taught me
how to use the program, what angles and shots were used
for/called and how to piece a product together. The finished
product is by far better and shows the ability within the group,
from research to editing the piece together.
