Final Cut vs iMovie

 Final cut is higher rated than iMovie as it has more effects to
produce a better quality trailer and has more advanced technology to
use on it.
 It supports many different file types
 You can import full clips or just proportions of clips
 Over 1,300 sound effects
 Separates visuals and audios

3. IMOVIE
 iMovie has 29 different style templates
 It has an easy to use timeline where you can drag and drop clips to
edit them together.
 iMovie doesn’t have as much editing technology as final cut.
 You can have different themes to your video with iMovie.
 You can also edit clips in the app.

4. DECISION
 As I have the editing role when creating my trailer I need to decide
what software I will be using when editing our trailer. I need
something with the correct software on to make our trailer look as
professional as it can. Having looked at the benefits and drawbacks of
both iMovie and Final Cut, I think Final Cut will be the better
software to use as it has better devices on it and will give our trailer
more of a polished professional look to it.
