The Camera
The camera had SD digital recording. I
learned how to use the white balance
on the camera to set up the look of the
film. We could also use filters to do
this. The film was recorded as an MP4
file which made the uploading easier
on Final Cut Pro X for editing.
3. {To use the mic we had to ensure that some
one was operating it we had to check the
sound levels of the input sound to ensure
that it wasn’t too loud. We also had to
ensure that the mic picked up the sound
that we needed to hear within the film by
holding it up over the actors to make sure
the sound is higher quality.

4. {In the preliminary task we edited using
iMovie for Mac but for the final cut we
used Final Cut Pro X which is a more up
to date form of editing software that
allowed us to colour match with ease and
paste the attributes of our edits onto
other clips. Final Cut Pro X is commonly
used for creative purposes by many indie
film makers.

designed for the purposes of creativity
rather than business. The apps on the
mac such as iMovie and Final Cut Pro
X were apps that were made for the
mac and were designed for creative
purposes rather than business.

6. {At first blogger was frustrating to use
but as I have gotten used to it I have
learned about how to embed elements of
my work using the HTML page. On this
page I can paste an embed code and my
work will automatically embed onto my
blog. I can also use blogger to upload
videos and pictures.

7. {Facebook and Twitter were used as the
promotional tools for the film. Facebook
and twitter have the hash-tag feature
which connects tweets and posts of
different interests to reach a specific
target audience. They also allow us to
upload pictures and videos. These sites
are mainly used for sharing information
about the film.

8. {YouTube is an extremely popular site for
watching film clips and allows us to get
comments and feedback from the
audience. YouTube also provides us
with embed codes so we can embed
clips into our blog.

Web 2.0 is the second version of the
web that allows videos and images to
be streamed online rather than the
internet being full of just text. David
Gantlet said that Web 2.0 is faster and
allows more collaborative creativity.
