The artist used high-quality HD video and audio equipment to film and record their music video and album in order to produce professional quality productions. They edited the video footage in Movie Maker and iMovie and designed the album and advertisements in PowerPoint. Images for promotional materials were taken with an HD camera and edited in Instagram, BeFunky, and PowerPoint's image tools to get the best quality and formatting.

1. TECHNOLOGIES When I came to filming my music
video I decided to use a HD
Video Camera to ensure that the
USED IN video was produced in excellent
quality. By using this high quality
camera, this gave the video more
PRODUCTION opportunity to look much more
professional.
When I transferred all of the clips for the video
onto the computer, I decided to use ‘Movie
Maker’ to cut down the clips and ensure that
they are synchronised with the song itself. I
used this because it is very simple to use and it
would make it easier when I came to my next
stage of editing. After doing this I then
transferred what I had done onto ‘iMovie’ so
that I could edit the video to a high quality and
make it look more professional.
I decided to create my album and my album
advert on PowerPoint because this is easy to
use and the page setup is very good for this
kind of production. The font styles that I used
on the album came from a website called
‘www.fontspace.com’. This allowed for me to
choose from a wide range of fonts which could
link and be suitable for my album and album
advert.
The images on my ancillary products were
taken with a HD camera to ensure that they
were of the highest quality. I edited these
images on three different platforms. I used
‘Instagram’, ‘BeFunky.com’ and also the image
formatting which PowerPoint offers. This
allowed me to alter the image to how I
wanted it and to the best quality due to the
range of editing techniques that were
available.
