Adobe Premiere Pro is a popular video editing software used by professionals and enthusiasts alike. It offers a wide range of features and tools for creating high-quality video content, including the ability to add transitions between clips. Transitions can help to smooth out the visual flow of your video, making it more polished and professional. In this article, we will discuss how to add transitions on Premiere Pro.
Step 1: Open the Effects Panel
The first step in adding transitions on Premiere Pro is to open the Effects panel. This can be done by selecting the "Effects" tab from the bottom of the screen. Once you have opened the Effects panel, you will see a list of available transition effects that you can use in your video.
Step 2: Drag and Drop Transitions
Once you have selected the transition you want to use, simply drag and drop it onto the timeline between two clips. The transition will appear as a small icon between the two clips, and you can click on it to adjust its settings. You can also use the Effects Controls panel to adjust the duration and other settings of the transition.
Step 3: Customize Transition Settings
Each transition has its own settings that you can customize to fit your video. To access these settings, click on the transition icon in the timeline and then go to the Effects Controls panel. Here, you can adjust the duration of the transition, its position, and its alignment with the clips. You can also adjust the intensity and timing of the transition to fit the style of your video.
Step 4: Preview and Adjust
Once you have added your transitions, it is important to preview your video to make sure that everything is working as intended. To do this, simply press the space bar to play the video and watch for any issues. If you notice any problems, you can adjust the settings of your transitions or make other changes to your video until you are satisfied with the final result.
In conclusion, adding transitions on Premiere Pro is a simple process that can greatly enhance the visual flow of your video. By following these steps and experimenting with different transition effects, you can create a polished and professional video that will captivate your audience. So, get started today and add some transitions to your next video project!

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
2. IMPORTING AND EDITING
STEP1. I went to file and
then log and capture
Step2. After I
have imported it
into final cut it
then appears on
my timeline and I
am then able to
drag it to the
timeline and then
edit it.
Step3. After you have
dragged the clips you wanted
into the timeline you’re then
able to cut using this.
Step4. After you have cut I then
for some of the sound used this
pen mark where I clicked it on
the part I wanted the sound to
be raised or lowered. I did this
so it would work well with other
sound I have used.
3. TIMELINE PROGRESS
This is my timeline of
my editing so far.
This is the beginning
of the process.
This again is my
timeline
progressing. As
you can see I am
half way through
finished editing
This is my timeline finished and all
my editing is finished.
4. EFFECTS AND FADE
Step1. I went to
effects, video
transitions, dissolve
and then I chose what
effect I wanted and
dragged it to the clip.
5. EXPORTING
Step1. I went to

went to share.
Step2. I then typed my title
of my product up onto
