There is evidence of proficiency in the creative use of many of the technical skills.
Footage:
There is mostly controlled use of the camera throughout with a good variety of shots
and attention to framing. Good attention to mise-en-scene.
Editing:
There are well placed cuts and transitions. Good added titles to show the
conventions of the industry. Editing of the headshots works well with the narrative.
Sound:
The dialogue levels are clear and well recorded. Well-chosen score that builds
tension.
Overall:
A proficient film opening that fits the drama/thriller genre well.
