This document discusses how humans are created by God with individual purposes and talents. It contrasts living for oneself versus living for God and his glory. While Christians struggle with pleasing themselves over God, we can accept ourselves as God sees us and love others as he does. We should embrace our interests and abilities but die to ourselves, living for God's approval rather than man's. Our identity is in Christ, not in how others see us.
ARE YOU FRUSTRATED BY WHAT YOU CAN'T SEEM TO CHANGE? EVER WONDER WHY YOU STILL FEEL THE SAME THINGS YOU DID BEFORE YOU CAME TO JESUS? MANY ARE AND TOO OFTEN THE MESSAGE IS THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU! DON'T BELIEVE THAT ANY LONGER. READ THE TRUTH.
In order to have healthy intimate relationships with others, it helps to have a healthy intimate relationship with God. With God, there is absence of judgment and unconditional acceptance, unlike with a human partner. Through reference to biblical concepts and teachings from the Catholic Catechism, this presentation explains how to form a healthy intimacy with God.
Are you looking for answers in a world that is spinning out of control? Are you looking for a predictable manageable christian life?
God has called us to embrace uncertainity and get in the game. The answers may very well be in the trails. How big is your God?
Using the illustration of assessments and tests, we look forward with reverent fear and joyful hope to God's final judgment of the world in justice and mercy. Because of what Christ Jesus has accomplished on the cross, we can be sure of eternal life and have nothing to worry about. He has taken care of everything - only let us make sure our faith is firmly rooted in the Unchanging One.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

…To serve ourselves
In a nutshell,itwasabout“Me”. Wantingwhatwe want.
Because of Christ,we have a newnature,whichwantsto live for…
…God’s glory

…Embrace our interests,personalityandtalents
…Die to ourselvesandlive forhim
…Honor/Value otherslikeGoddoes.
….Showthe same grace and mercyto others
However,sometimes,people andevenourselvesgetinthe way.Here iswhy:
God People
In Christ Performance
Eternal Temporal
Holy Sinful
Trustworthy Fickle
Primary Secondary
We cannotput our whole trustinpeople where itneedstobe inGod. Yes,we are to trustpeople and
love people, butoursole devotionneedstobe JesusChrist.Onlyhe canbe the true friendthatwe are
all lookingfor.People willbe people, butwe canovercome sinbywalkinginGod’sgrace. We can learn

themto do.We have to learnto letgo…andletGod.
Caveat:We can onlybe whoGod callsus to be.Anythingonthe outside of thatwill notwork.Stopliving
for others, live forGodand embrace the personhe hasmade and calledyouto be.Stoptryingto fitinto
the worldssystem, live forGodandlove others. We are toworshipGod,not people.
We evenbeatourselvesup,here iswhy:
God Ourselves
Righteous Wretched
Proud Ashamed
Merciful Vengeful
Gracious Judgemental (Carnal)
Able Unable
Accepted Rejected

We maynot be acceptedor rejectedbyothers…butdonotletthat define whoyouare.People donot

You will wanttolove othersandbe concernedfortheirwelfare, butatthe same time, wantingtoplease

We are fearfullyandwonderfullymade, because we are made toobeyGod andto revere himinour
livesineverythingwe do.Butinorderto do that, we mustwrap our mindaroundhow God seesusand

If you have not receivedJesusasyourLord and Savior,Iencourage youto do that rightnow. You can be

Remember,we are tonot have confidence inthe flesh…butinthe one wholovedus(Rom8:37). When
