This document discusses how Christians should take off their old selfish selves and put on their new selves centered around serving God and others. It encourages believers to crucify their sinful nature, walk by the Spirit rather than the flesh, and allow Christ to live through them. Christians are called to serve God by obeying his commands, trusting his promises and word, and putting him first in all things. They are also to serve others by considering others' needs above their own, loving neighbors as themselves, and showing grace, mercy and forgiveness to all.

 People who are born again have the new self, they just have to walk in
it
 People who are not born again may have a moral compass but they are
incapable of displaying the fruits of the spirit. They are in bondage to sin

3. TAKING OFF THE OLD
SELF

 See yourselves as crucified with Christ, the Righteousness of God in

4. PUTTING ON THE NEW
SELF

5. SERVING GOD
 Putting him first

6. SERVING OTHERS

8. OPERATING IN GRACE
 Forgiving Them
 Loving them even when they do not deserve it
 Loving them for who they are, where they are at
 Advancing God’s kingdom by showing the hope of God
 Living for Jesus and him alone, being full of Jesus

9. REMEMBER
 We love others because God first us. It is his love that causes us to
love others. Only through knowing God can we really learn to love
others.
 Unless we live a life surrendered to God, we will not be able to
love others
 We are to show others the grace and mercy of God because God
loves us for who we are.

 There are plenty of ways you can make a difference for Christ
 It does not have to be speaking in front of millions of people
 Learn to serve one another in the fear of God
 Then help others in their time of need
