know it is an information technology course however I don’t have the interest to talk about technology for example introducing a software however my interest more roles to history and facts. That is why I chose my topic “ the history of communication”. My topic is consisted on 6 main points. The first point in my presentation is defining the term communication in which people can relate to or find it simpler to absorb. Secondly I have listed communication types followed by communication tools. Concluding the presentation into 3 points and displaying my bibliography of my previous research’s sources. The “Questions” template is the last slide and that’s is to allow the students to ask me any question they want to know more.
I used for my presentation the classic Microsoft PowerPoint software. I didn’t want to complicate things or introduce the topic it artistically. I believe a topic can reach people by its simplicity and highlights. I think my topic is useful to ZU student in which it presents new information they can add to their background around communication history.

Advances in signal processing technologies are a technological driver for wireless technologies. Different technologies like 3G (WAN), WLAN (LAN), Bluetooth (PAN) and WiMAX (MAN) target different applications and markets. Since most of the frequency spectrum is still regulated in the different countries, newer technologies aim for non-regulated bands such as the 2.4GHz and 5GHz ISM bands.
In order to fully exploit untethered operation, wireless devices are fitted with roaming and handover protocols like 802.11r or Mobile IP. Layer 2 protocols typically provide faster handover but are restricted to specific link layer protocols. Layer 3 or higher protocols like Mobile IP are independent of the link layer thus work across heterogeneous networks.
People like to communicate the way *they* want to, not the way they are *made* to. Furthermore, employees now expect access to consumer class "usable" technologies in their business environments - "Consumer Grade" trumps "Business Grade" 10 times out of 10.
This is the world of Communications In The Cloud, where the synchronous modalities of Voice and Text meet the asynchronous modalities of Email, SMS, IM, Twitter, and the like. These modalities can - poorly - emulate each other, but genuine innovation and value is provided by services that can seamlessly move across these synchronous and asynchronous channels as users' needs change.

The four basic periods of computer history can be divided into the following:
Pre-mechanical Age – it involves the basic system of writing and alphabets like petroglyphs, ideographs, cuneiforms, the invention of pen and paper, and the first calculator ‘abacus’.
Mechanical Age – it involves the start of the information explosion where machines are now helping with the creation and transmission of information through a wider audience than in the pre-mechanical age.
Electromechanical Age – this is the start of telecommunications. Telegraphs, telephone, and radio are the highlights of this age.
Electronic Age – this is where we are today where computers are programmable and electric.
