For my observation, I was at Randolph Elementary in Ms. Heim s fifth grade class.
I spent two and a half hours, twice a week, for three weeks at Randolph.
Throughout my time at Randolph, I was able to observe many different
exceptionalities. Because each of the fifth grade teachers teach a particular
subject, the students rotate between classrooms for instruction. This allowed me to

Reflection About Religion
Religion has never truly appeared in my life as something of higher importance.
Ever since I was little, my family dragged me to church in hopes I would
potentially get something out of it. It is prevalent that I never really retained
anything from the sermons and the talks about God. Although I was still open to
attending the service, I was always full of questions that no one could fully answer.
I decided to sit in on an Apostolic Pentecostal church service that my best friend had
been attending. While there, I began to understand why religion is important for
various people, how religion can be perceived in different ways, and how
sometimes it is okay to not truly believe in one religion or another. I woke up
bright and early to an alarm clock screaming in my ear, and began to get ready for
the church service. I did not want to draw attention to myself while there so I

Jon Krakauer s group, on April 16th, began their 2nd acclimatization starting from
base camp and climbing up too camp one. Hall, the group leader decided that he
would like the climbers to stay at camp one for two nights, camp two for one night,
then after that, go back to the base camp. The next morning they left for camp two,
which is about four miles above where they were at camp one. On his way up,

To begin, for my fieldwork project I decided to visit the Milwaukee Public Museum.
The cross cultural topic that I chose is Tools of all Kinds and I focused on weapons. I
decided to choose weapons because I believe they can tell us a lot about the culture
of different people from different parts of the world. The types of weaponsand what
they are made of represent different cultural views and even the surrounding areas
of these places, because weapons are made from what is available to people.
Weapons from different places in the world can lead to inferences of that specific

Maha considers this item as one of her greatest achievements since it was the first
medal she received here in Canada. It must make a person extremely proud to
receive an award in their first year in a brand new country. Maha carried on to tell
her class that she received the Greatest Strides Award in elementary school after
her recent arrival in Canada. When she moved from Saudi Arabia, it was her first
time attending a school here and everything was absolutely different in the
education system to her, how everything ran and how students were taught. The
school she attended back in Saudi Arabia had so many differences with the schools

Operation Anaconda took place in the Shahikot Valley of eastern Afghanistan. The
mission began on March 2, 2001 and ended on March 16, 2001. A hammer and anvil
attack, with 600 American and 400 Afghan troops, would rout, capture, or kill enemy

Kathryn Bigelow is one of the most iconic directors of the modern era. Her sense of
depicting language remains unopposed. She is known for her specialty films of the
war genre. Several of her works have been greatly appreciated, such as The Weight of
Water, The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty, etc. These have won her several awards
and secured her place as one of the most influential directors of all time.

The Hurt Locker is a slow paced film. Most of the scenes have been deeply
elaborated with excessive portrayal on the character s expression. Set during Iraq
War, it illustrates the lives of three soldiers who have the most terrifyingly
dangerous jobs in the world working in a bomb disposal squad. They risk their lives
every day to provide safety to the society they are aiding. It is an extremely harsh and

A) The Joy luck Club presents a couple of themes but one of which, relates to an issue
that is affecting many immigrant families who bring up their kids in foreign
countries. In forwards, the difficulty in speaking and translating another language.The
mothers and daughters in the book have difficulty in communicating their ideas and
feelings with one another.The problems associated with communicating with one
another create a barrier between the mother s Chinese language and the daughter s
English language.The mothers and daughters misunderstand what the other is
intending to say due to the differences in the meanings of their cultural languages.The
differences in the languages are perceived differently by the mother and the daughter
leading them to act towards each other differently. The fragmented use of the two
languages is understood by the reader when Jing mei realizes that some Chinese
words cannot be translated into English. Jing mei thinks of her mother as a failure in
society and sets herself apart from her. Her mother is impatient and says that her
daughter doesn t understand the cultural meaning of the Chinese language and doesn
t acknowledge the Chinese heritage. This theme is evident in the book because the
characters bring up the frustration associated with their daughters understanding the
Chinese meanings without understanding the Chinese culture.

provide for us in the future. With the growing population of 200,000 people to this
planet every day and 70 million more people every year, food is the ever growing
need. But how can we support the growing human species on Earth? The answer in

will exist on Earth (World Population Balance 2017). This in turn unless corrected

Another solution is to outsource our population to other planets, which is already

Power systems would be a mixed use of different systems that being solar, nuclear and
battery. Conducting this method of a hybrid power system would meet the demands
on a growing station. Fission power system wouldn t be any of a radioactive hazard
until system power up this would entitle of a safe system install. A backup
computer operated system to help maintain the reactor by allowing the system to
response to power grid load and power system thermal load. This would provide a
safe operating temperature that would be based on a negative temperature band
feedback. This would cause less potential damage caused by thermal stress on the
reactor (Angelo 2017). Battery system would be based on the ideal of the Tesla
Power Wall. This battery would contain the battery pack, invertor and the liquid
cooling loop (Tesla 2017). The batteries would be connected in series to provide
enough output for a twenty four output. This will in a case where reactor power
will need to be brought online from a down system or emergency. If in an
emergency the nuclear reactor compartment will be evacuated and ejected from the
station to provide safety for the station. In this time, the station will operate low
power and depend on battery and solar panels. A dispatch team will investigate the
