Factual planning
style
• The style I am wanting to create my video in is a mini documentary, I
am going to try and use a dark colour schemes such as using dark
greens, greys and blacks to fit in with the military aesthetic as I am
wanting to make it military based. I am going to do this as I don’t
want my theme and colour scheme to clash, I also want to attempt to
add text and subtitles to my work so its easy to understand what is
being said, for this I want to use a black backing and white text to
make the text easy to read but so the backing blends into my colour
scheme.
Potential footage
• Some potential footage I can use is a compilation of pictures and
footage from online sources and original footage. I can also use
original photos and footage of military exercises and members, I can
also use footage from my interviews for extra footage. I want to use
this footage as I want to make my documentary about military
recruitment during covid-19 pandemic so having footage of military
members during training or doing drill.
Audio files
• For the audio I am going to use I will be using my interview audio and
some commentary by me, I may also add a song to play under the
interview, I want to use a song with a military affiliation such as the
last post, which is commonly played during military ceremonies such
as remembrance day.

• Week 1
• Day 1- this day I will be getting my footage that I want to use and find a song that I want to have playing
• Day 2- this day I will add my interview footage to my edit and crop down the visual and audio to relevant parts
• Day 3- this day I will add effects too my footage
• Week 2
• Day 1- this day I will put all my audio and footage together and make a vague idea of how it will play
• Day 2- this day I will finalise the arrangements of my footage and audio to tell the best story
• Day 3- this day I will finalise the effects and editing on both my audio and visual parts of my project
• Week 3
• Day 1- this day I will go through all my work and double check it all and see how it plays through
• Day 2- this day I will export my project and upload it too my website.
At the end of every day I will do a production reflection and evaluate the work that I have done that day.
