1. Set Deadlines
You should set deadlines for almost everything you do; otherwise, you will not try your best to fulfill your tasks.
2. Upgrade Technology
In this modern world, technology plays a very important role in working productivity. Therefore, upgrading technology on a regular basis is one of the tips on how to be efficient and productive at work. Technology helps you work faster and more precisely.
3. Avoid Personal Affairs At Work
You may have some personal calls when you are at work, but do not let them last for too long as this will badly affect your productivity. These phone calls can even lower your concentration on what you are doing, resulting in some mistakes at work. Moreover, your boss will not appreciate you if you keep doing personal affairs at work.
4. Work Hard In The Morning
In the morning when you are full of energy, you should focus on doing your tasks at work. This will help you complete your work fast, precisely, and efficiently. If you do some stuff like checking email or status updates on social networking sites in the morning, you are lowering your productivity.
5. Stop Laziness
Another tip on how to be efficient and productive at work is to stop laziness. Laziness loses your working productivity, and prevents you from promotion. Therefore, you should always focus on your main work rather than chatting with colleagues at work.
6. Stop Doing Multi-Tasks
Doing a task well is better than doing multi-tasks incompletely at a time. If you want to do a lot of tasks, complete one by one at a time. Do not try to complete them at the same time as you may make big mistakes on them.
7. Use Appropriate Communication
Communicating appropriately is another tip on how to be efficient at work. If you need to explain something to your boss or co-workers, you should try to make it easy to understand. You should always use positive words in conversations at work even when you disagree with someone there.
8. Say No
Saying no at the right time will also help you work efficiently and productively. For example, when someone asks you to do something which is not your passion or priority, you can say no without hesitance, and come back to your main work.
9. Sleep Enough
Make sure that you sleep enough 8 hours a day to be physically and mentally healthy at work. Lack of sleep makes you tired, and unable to work at 100% of productivity.
10. Get Exercise
Doing exercises makes you strong, and decisive, as well as, confident at work. It also helps you avoid obesity and some other diseases like back pain or shoulder pain due to long sitting hours at work.
11. Have Positive Thoughts
Positive thoughts help create good mood to work. This helps enhance your efficiency and productivity. Therefore, you should always think about the good results you may get

Not just Muslims, but every single human being has to answer the most fundamental question at some point in his or her lifetime:
"Why was I created? Why am I here? What am I doing in this world? Why did God create me?"
These questions are questions which each and everyone of us reflects on at some point during their life. We have some answers, which are given generally but usually these answers don't satisfy us - seeming somewhat simplistic. So, we still wonder: "Why me? Why here?". I know all of you (Muslims), are saying, "To worship Allah, khallas (finish). What more is there to say? Why do we need to have a big long talk on why we were created when we all know it is to worship Allah?!"
But wait. If this is presented to a non-Muslim, the next logical question would be, "Why does Allah want us to worship Him?" Then your stuck, which can only mean that in our own minds it is not really clear. Why did Allah create us to worship Him?

of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions

so that the next time you start there is
no chaos and friction (Aggravating,

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven. Ecc. 3:1Right time and wrong time?Mentor - Andrew Cass – Productivity Expert – author, speaker, trainer
Most feel Information age and Technology = less time, not a savings of time.
What do people that are highly productive entrepreneurs do on a daily basis?
High producers - not be the smartest or most skilled – but the smartest at building the skills for high productivity.
The way we are handling information and technologycauses us to subconsciously sabotage ourselves. Shiny object. What are your shiny objects?
Five tips high producers understand that can change our perspective and super boost productivity.
First Tip for Extreme Time Management: You can’t manage time. You can only manage yourself in time. We all have the same 24 hours.Important because today is a mini-life – a small prototype of your lifetime.First - Learn to manage our physical and mental energy and we will manage yourself in time better. Deliberate thinking about how to capitalize on:Physical Poor physical condition slowly saps life from us slowing what we can get done.Fuzzy mind accompanies poor physical condition.** Take care of ourselves physically so we don’t have these distractions. Good personal habits!!!MentalWhere is our focus? What are we directing most of our mental energy to?Email, phone, social media, texting, ….. OPA (other people’s agenda) - become reactive and scattered.Lose focus, distracted – don’t get anything done.
Why people aren’t having success –Information age and technology – reactive rather than proactive. Don’t get left behind mentality – What are our two biggest challenges?1. Addressing tasks rather than focus. We don’t manage us well. React vs RespondMost people are handling their time wrong. Whatever most people are doing – don’t do!Most handle their time like their money – reactionary – winging it - impulse.2. Multitasking is a bad idea.Workfaster vs work smarter.Harvard Business review study found that multitasking leads to “up to 40% drop in productivity, more stress, and a 10% IQ drop”
Change the way you think about your time: You can’t manage time. You can only manage yourself in time.I control my minutes. Leaders take OwnershipPay attention to what I’m doing.Stop doing more than one thing at a time.
Second Tip for Extreme Time Management -#2 OverwhelmOverwhelm is here to stay. All workers are dealing with it in the new economy – Exposure to media is out of control. How we view overwhelm will determine how we handle it. Overwhelm = information coming at us. Alternative is underwhelmed. Underwhelmed = poorly paid.Getting comfortable with a new situation (overwhelm) always precedes growth. Uncomfortable but setting up for growth. Personal, client, financial…Like your time – you must manage overwhelm, because you can’t make it go away. How to manage overwhelm:Schedule a time to manage the massive amount of information that comes toward you. Training, correspondence, reading, writing, phone calls, eating…. Don’t live on the fly – no pattern or consistency – ever changing. Look at the management of information as an appointment. Scheduling these items into your week.2. Disconnect. Schedule time blocks in your week where you unplug entirely for creative time. At least 2 hours a week. Allow yourself the time to dig into that pile you “set aside” for later, or to focus some extra time on something that was underestimated in your schedule. 3. Journal to track what you are doing. Schedule on the front end, and journal the result on the backend. Re-enforces doing what is planned instead of missing it. Tracking to discover how to optimize.
How to manage overwhelm steps:Step 1: Schedule time to manage information.Look at the management of information as an appointment with a client. Schedule these items into your week.1. Design a firm schedule - schedule a time to manage the massive amount of information that comes toward you. Training, correspondence, reading, writing, phone calls, eating…. Even breaksStop living on the fly – “oh I’ll listen to this webinar cause I have 20 minutes”- no pattern or consistency – ever changing on whims. Be the boss.Have a start and finish time for ALL activities you schedule.TIP - End each scheduled time with Clearing to Neutral.
CTN – Clearing to neutral – Reduce Chaos, friction, and procrastinationSet up for next time so chaos is eliminated. Friction is reduced.Great aid in preventing procrastination.
Clearing to Neutral TrickRemember- Your day is your mini-life – a prototype of your lifetime.Make a list.Add a clear to neutral action.Implement
How to manage overwhelm:Step 1: Schedule time to manage information.Step 2. Deliberately Disconnect.Disconnect from what gets in the way Schedule disconnecttime blocks in your week where you unplug entirely for creative time. At least 2 hours at a time each week. Allow yourself the time to dig into that pile you “set aside” for later, or to focus on training and growth. Dream time.
How to manage overwhelm:Step 1: Schedule time to manage information.Step 2. Deliberately Disconnect. Step 3. Journal to track what you are doing. Schedule on the front end, and journal the result on the backend. How much are you doing/ what are you doing/ how are they going? Re-enforces doing what is planned instead of missing it. Tracking to discover how to optimize. Difference between working out alone and with a personal trainer. To manage information you must track the information.TIP: Take a week and analyze your self. What are you allowing in that is taking you off track?
Third Tip for Extreme Time Management -The Number 1 Vampire that sucks your time no matter what.Distractions – not email, texts, or SM, or the phone – random distractions YOU are allowing to interfere with your business plan. What is taking you away from what you want to get accomplished that day? Get ruthless. Check your journal – what are you allowing in and what can you eliminate. It is you allowing these things to enter your life causing drain. Distractions aren’t going away. #1 distraction is people coming in and getting you off track.Develop an awareness of how you are reacting to distractions so that you respond with boundaries rather than reacting with disruptive decisions.
Vampire is Distractions – You must set up rules and boundaries to stack the deck in your favor.Example from Andrew Cass:Every work day - When I wake up – I turn my phone and email off for two hours.Stop the leash mentality. Stop the unlimited access. Use the batching strategy.
The Number One Vampire that sucks your time:Batching – Doing tasks at the same time on the same day each week.Hard coding activities into your week. Keeps you from being swayed to jump into that activity “now”.Keeps the focus high for accomplishment.Emails CallsMarketingRevenue building activities
Fourth Tip for Extreme Time Management -#4 The Importance of EnvironmentIf you feel stuck getting what you need to get done, I challenge you to take a look at the environment that you’re inHigh achievers use their time differently in different environments to raise productivity. – Location , sound, and people are part of this.Breaking up your environment aids in productivity.I can’t write new copy for products I want to offer in my home office. Too many subtle distractions –go to my rocking chair. If I have to strategize marketing – at my kitchen table – only when I’m alone.
Are you being productive where you are when you’re doing what you’re doing?Especially when you work for yourself.
#3 The Importance of EnvironmentStarbucks – library – Getting up early to be alone – parkDoes listening to music help you? Taking a drive? Getting out of your own home office will bring new ideas to you. Creative mind = productive mind.Get out there an test it out. Trial and error – keep going till you find it – it will provide breakthroughs for you.Find a place you can relax. Where are you less on edge – where are you settled down? The importance of your environment also involves your associations. Are you allowing people to hang with you for that activity? Are they helping you be a more productive leader?? Make sure those people are causing “building” to happen in you personally or in your business.
Fifth Tip Extreme Time ManagementHow to place a dollar value on your time.Dan Kennedy formula – book – No BS Time Management for Entrepreneurs. What is your income goal for 2013? Use that number.Formula for how to calculate your what you’re worth per hour so that you never look at each hour of your day the same again. Make 100,000 per year for 250 work days in a year/ 8 hour work day. (2000 hours a year) 100,000 divided by 2000 hrs = $50 hour simple mathSimple math is wrong – studies show only 1/3 of our time is profitable (only about 3 hours per day revenue producing on average) – no one works 8 hours revenue producing each day. $100,000.00 divided by 750 hours = $133 hrWhat are you willing to do for $X - train yourself to think about how much you’re spending when you waste time.
Andrew Cass – Productivity Expert – author, speaker, trainerAndrewjcass.com/blog – business and personal development
