The ‘Beyond Bullet Points’ approach

Technical Tips: Slide master view, animations and 
tricks of the trade. 
Some useful information about setting up your presentation 
Week 4 Planning the presentation: 
Overview, outlining, thinking about the audience, aims and how

  • #7 Elicit a list of good presenters and bad presenters. Watch clip of Steve Jobs – analyse why it was good. Then watch Steve Ballmer, analyse why it was bad. Then move onto what makes good practise.
  • #9 Before bringing up the bullets, illicit a list of what’s most important. Afterwards, ask them to add more things.
