Desktop
A desktop computer is a typical office computer
  that is used in office buildings and used at
  home for studies. There is a monitor that is
  connected to the base unit. The base unit is
  where all of the components are that make
  the computer function.
Laptop
A laptop has the same function as a desktop, however
   the advantage with a laptop over a desktop is that
   you can take a laptop out and about with you. The
   difference with a laptop is that there is no base
   unit, all of the internal components are in the laptop
   itself, and there is a built in screen and integrated
   speakers.
Tablet
A tablet is a device that is often used for web
  surfing, gaming and email. The advantage with
  a tablet is that is light and and handheld and
  can be taken anywhere. An example of a
  tablet is IOS.
Games console
A games console is a visual interactive who's
  output is put on to a monitor or TV screen. A
  games console is played through a controller.
  The latest in controller technology is ‘hands
  free’ there will be a sensor that will pick up
  movement and replicate your movement on
  to the screen.
Mobile
A mobile is a device that allows you to call
  people wherever they are. You can also use
  technology like SMS (texting). The latest
  technology on mobiles allow you to access
  emails, go on social networking sites, and
  access the internet.
PDA
A PDA (personal digital assistant) is a smart-
  phone that allows easy access to things such
  as email, SMS and phone calls. A PDA is a
  useful and helpful organiser that used by
  people in business’.
