This document summarizes different types of computing devices: desktops, which have separate monitors and keyboards; laptops, which are mobile but lack features like CD drives; tablets, which are touchscreen devices like the iPad but may not have laptop features; game consoles, which allow playing games and some also connect to the web; mobile phones, which allow wireless communication and different models offer varying apps, games, and capabilities; and PDAs, which are similar in size to mobiles but have computer applications for work on the go instead of calling and texting functions.

2. desktop
• The purpose of the desktop is that it is a
regularly used kind of computer that normally
have separate monitors and keyboards.

3. laptop
• Laptop are personal computer that are mobile
and require no cables to work but the charger.
These are good for those on the move but lack
something's that computers have

4. tablet
• Tablets are like phones but act as computers
with a touch screen or a pen. An ipad would
be an example they are mobile but may not
have features that a laptop has. e.g. CD drive

5. Games console
• Game console allow to play games. Different
consoles can allow you to play different
games. More updated consoles also allowed
you to search the web, watch online DVD’s/TV
and play music

6. mobile
• Mobile are small and allow to communicate
over wireless to either text or talk to other
people that are far away. Different mobiles
offer different applications such as gaming,
music, strengths, speeds and social
networking.

7. PDA
PDA is the same size
as a mobile but
instead of calling and
testing they have
computer
applications so you
can do work on them.
They are used for
those who work on
the move.
