6. SHEDDINGOF LEAVES---
In deciduous plants excretory
substances are transported and
stored in the leaf cells before leaf
fall and are eliminated with
abscissionof the leaves.
EXAMPLES: Hog palm, Silk
cotton, Albizzia, Sirish, Simul etc.
7. EXFOLIATION OF BARK---
Mature tall trees store their
excretory products in the bark.
They get rid of it by exfoliation of
the bark.
EXAMPLES: Terminalia, Guava,
Eucalyptus etc.

9. Secretion of latex :
•Some plants get rid of their excretory
products by the secretion of milky
white thick fluid , called latex.
•EXAMPLE: Banyan , Calotropis ,
Pararubber , Cactus etc.
10. SECRETION OF GUMS :
Some plants eliminate their
excretory materials by the
secretion of a sticky, fluid,
called gum.
EXAMPLE: Acacia, Albizzia ,
Odina ,etc.
11. SECRETION OF RESIN:
Some plants liberate their excretory
materials by the secretion of a
transparent , yellowish sticky fluid,
called resin .
EXAMPLE: Pine, Shellac, Lacquer,
etc.

DIFFUSION:
Excretory materials like CO2 is removed
through stomata, lenticels by way of
diffusion . Water soluble materials are
leached out to the soil through leaves.
