The position of women in everyday life was not fun. Since the civilization was
strictly male dominance, there was not much that women could do, regarding
themselves. The women were forced to stay home to care for children and do
household chores while men were out working on farms and in markets. Women

regarding their spouse, their household, their land, or their farms, the women didn t

A peasant was usually given one of two jobs. Either farming or harvesting silk. If
the farmer refused or did not work hard enough, they were sentenced to death or sent

prepared the estimates of Informal Settlers in the Philippines. According to the
Spatial Statistics of
Informal Settlers in the Philippines component of the Study, informal settler families
reached an estimated 550,771 households as of August 1, 2007. This is based on the
extrapolation made using the 2000 Census of Population and Housing (CPH) and the
2007 Census of
Population. The study showed that the highest concentration of informal settlers was
