EXAMINATION PROCESS
“Examination” is the
“reflection”
of teaching
Examination is a core activity of any education institution. In our college the examination is carried
in the semester method that takes place once in a six months. Each semester has two sessional of 75
marks each shall be conducted during the semester. Students are to note that both exams are
compulsory.
THEORY ASSESSMENT
• Theory assessment has two major components designed to fit in with the learning
objectives of this unit of study.

LAB ASSESSMENT
• The lab has two major components. the external practical examination will be of 35 marks
and the internal assessment is of 15 marks.

ATTENDANCE
• Student has to maintain 75% attendance overall including lectures and labs .Below 75%
attendance a security penalty will have to be paid by the student for the semester which is
refundable if the student maintains 75% attendance in the next semester.
EXAMINATION RULES FOR STUDENTS
• Students should reach examination room at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time. No
additional time shall be given to students arriving late.
• No student will be allowed late for more than 10 minutes in the examination centre. The final
alarm/hooter is raised exact at the starting time of the examination.
• All the entry gates of the building will be closed 15 minutes after the alarm is set out.
• Students must maintain complete silence in the examination room. If a student has any kind of
query he/she should raise his/her hand and wait for the invigilator.
• Lending/borrowing of pen, pencil, ruler, calculator, etc. is strictly prohibited in the examination
room.
• Students must display college id card.
• No rough work is to be done on the question paper.
• Students must mark his/her attendance on the attendance sheet during the examinations. In
case, his/her name is not listed, they need to report to an invigilator immediately.
• Students found cheating, chatting, gesturing or misbehaving in the examination room shall
be dealt with under the UMC rules.
• Any students using abusive or obscene language in the answer sheet shall be dealt with
under disciplinary rules.
• Students cannot leave the examination room without prior permission of the invigilator.
• Students is not allowed to leave his/her seat during the exam without getting permission
from the invigilator.
• An attempt to gain access to a question paper before the examinations shall be dealt under
the UMC rules.
• DON'T BRING YOUR MOBILE PHONE AND ANY OTHER UNAUTHORIZED
ELECTRONIC GADGETS!

• For any help in regards to your study you can approach the subject faculties, who
will be available as per schedule/ time table and on working day at, CSE staff
room.
