From CINEMA HALL to MULTIPLEX

• In December 1947, Nat Taylor, twinned his Elgin Theatre in
  Ottawa, Canada

• In 1963, AMC Theatres opened the two-screen Parkway Twin
  in Kansas City, followed by four screen in 1966 and 6 screen
  in 1969

• In 1965, Martin's Westgate Cinemas became one of the first
  indoor two-screen theatres in Atlanta, Georgia.

• In 1997, PVR Cinemas came up with the first Multiplex in Delhi,

• PVR had advantage of being one is its kind
  so Pricing is High.

• PVR, they make use of all their tangible elements
 to prove to their customers that their movie tickets
 are worth the price they are paying

• The movie theatres market is a Free Market, even
  though the government in the past regulated it. This
  allows PVR as the market leader to set its own prices.

• Although the prices are high, youth is kept in mind,
 so PVR Priya has its ticket pricing starting from
